其实不是耶稣亲自施洗，乃是他的门徒施洗，）

因为我们虽然在血气中行事，却不凭着血气争战。我们争战的兵器本不是属血气的，乃是在神面前有能力，可以攻破坚固的营垒，

就吩咐奉耶稣基督的名给他们施洗。他们又请彼得住了几天。

我也要救你脱离百姓和外邦人的手。我差你到他们那里去，要叫他们的眼睛得开，从黑暗中归向光明，从撒但权下归向神；又因信我，得蒙赦罪，和一切成圣的人同得基业。’”

我说的话、讲的道，不是用智慧委婉的言语，乃是用圣灵和大能的明证，叫你们的信不在乎人的智慧，只在乎神的大能。

乃将那些暗昧可耻的事弃绝了；不行诡诈，不谬讲神的道理，只将真理表明出来，好在神面前把自己荐与各人的良心。

因为有人说：“他的信又沉重又厉害，及至见面，却是气貌不扬，言语粗俗的。”
