Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

因此無論誰，不合宜地吃主的餅、喝主的杯，就是干犯主的身體、主的血。

凡食主餅、飲主杯、而不合宜者、即干主身與血也、

凡食此餅、飲此杯、不合其宜者、是負主身主血者也、

故凡不合宜而食此餅飲主之杯者、即干主之體主之血矣、

故凡輕率冒昧、妄食聖餅、妄領聖爵者、則褻瀆聖體與聖血矣。

So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

Eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in the right way. Don’t do it in a way that isn’t worthy of him. If you do, you will be guilty. You’ll be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord.

So anyone who eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord unworthily is guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

So, then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sin against the body and blood of the Lord.

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way will be guilty of sin against the body and blood of the Lord.

Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink[ this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

For this reason, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord i n an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks the Lord’s cup in a way unworthy of the Lord will be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

I am the living bread that came down out of heaven; if anyone eats from this bread, he will live forever; and the bread which I will give for the life of the world also is My flesh.”

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ If any one of you or of your generations becomes unclean because of a dead person, or is on a distant journey, he may, however, celebrate the Passover to the Lord.

“ But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes,

How much more severe punishment do you think he will deserve who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has regarded as unclean the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

But the person who is clean and is not on a journey, yet refrains from celebrating the Passover, that person shall then be cut off from his people, because he did not present the offering of the Lord at its appointed time. That person will bear the responsibility for his sin.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh provides no benefit; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit, and are life.But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was who would betray Him.

I am not speaking about all of you. I know the ones whom I have chosen; but this is happening so that the Scripture may be fulfilled,‘ He who eats My bread has lifted up his heel against Me.’From now on I am telling you before it happens, so that when it does happen, you may believe that I am He.Truly, truly I say to you, the one who receives anyone I send, receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”When Jesus had said these things, He became troubled in spirit, and testified and said,“ Truly, truly I say to you that one of you will betray Me.”The disciples began looking at one another, at a loss to know of which one He was speaking.Lying back on Jesus’ chest was one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved.So Simon Peter* nodded to this disciple and* said to him,“ Tell us who it is of whom He is speaking.”He then simply leaned back on Jesus’ chest and* said to Him,“ Lord, who is it?”Jesus then* answered,“ That man is the one for whom I shall dip the piece of bread and give it to him.” So when He had dipped the piece of bread, He* took and* gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.After this, Satan then entered him. Therefore Jesus* said to him,“ What you are doing, do it quickly.”

Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on the fire and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded them.And fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.Then Moses said to Aaron,“ It is what the Lord spoke, saying,‘ By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ ” So Aaron, therefore, kept silent.

For a multitude of the people, many from Ephraim and Manasseh, and Issachar and Zebulun, had not purified themselves, yet they ate the Passover contrary to what was written. For Hezekiah prayed for them, saying,“ May the good Lord pardoneveryone who prepares his heart to seek God, the Lord God of his fathers, though not according to the purification rules of the sanctuary.”So the Lord heard Hezekiah and healed the people.
