他必用大號筒差遣他的使者，將他揀選的人、由四方、從天這邊到天那邊、都聚攏來。

因為主必親自從天上降臨，有發令的吶喊，有天使長的聲音，有上帝的號筒，那些在基督裏死了的人必先復起，然後我們這蒙存留還活着的人才和他們一同被攫在雲裏，在空中迎接主。這樣，我們就永遠與主同在了。

我實實在在地告訴你們，時候必到，如今就是了，死人必聽上帝兒子的聲音，而聽的人就必活起來。

你們別把這事看作希奇了；因為時候必到，那時凡在墳墓裏的、都必聽他的聲音

當那日子必有大號角聲吹出，那些迷失於亞述地的、和那些被趕散於埃及地的、都必來，在聖山上、在耶路撒冷、敬拜永恆主。

但主的日子總必來到；來時就像賊一樣。當那日、天必轟然一聲地過去，星辰必因烈熾而被消毁，地和地上被造之物就不見了。

死人之復活也是這樣。他被種、在朽壞中，他得甦活起來、在不朽壞之中；

我觀看，就聽見一隻鷹在天頂點上飛着，大聲說：『由於其餘號筒的聲音、就是三位天使將要吹的、住在地上的人有禍啊！有禍啊！有禍啊！』

第六位天使吹了號筒；我就聽見有聲音從上帝面前金祭壇的四角上發出，對那執有號筒的第六位天使說：『把那捆綁在幼發拉底大河的四個使者釋放吧。』

永恆主必顯現在他們以上；他的箭必射出如閃電；主永恆主必吹號角，乘南方的旋風而行。

我看見那站在上帝面前的七位天使；有七枝號筒給了他們。

世界上一切居民、和地上居住的人哪，山上豎起旌旗時你們要看哦！吹號角時你們要聽哦！

一眨眼間他們怎樣地成了荒涼啊！他們全都被可怕的災難滅盡了。

弟兄們，這一點我要說：肉與血不能承受上帝的國，朽壞也不能承受不朽壞。

到了第三天、早晨的時候，在山上有雷轟、閃電和濃雲；號角聲強大的很，營裏人民盡都顫抖。

這守望者見刀劍攻擊那地，他若吹號角警告眾民；

眾民見了雷轟、閃電、角聲和山上冒着煙；就懼怕，直發顫，遠遠地站着。

永恆主對摩西說：『你要對以色列人說：「你們是脖子硬的人民；我若眨眼間臨到你們中間，是會把你們滅盡的；如今你們要把身上的妝飾脫下來，讓我知道要怎樣處置你們。」』

他們若單吹一枝，眾首領、以色列的族系長、就要聚集攏來到你這裏。

『你要從這會眾中起來，我好在眨眼之間消滅他們。』二人就臉伏於地。

但那守望者若見刀劍臨到，而不吹號角，以致人民沒有受警告，而刀劍遂來除滅他們中間任何人的性命，那麼這人雖因他自己的罪孽而被除滅，然而流他血的罪我卻要從守望者手裏追討。

『你們要從這會眾中自己分別出來，我好在眨眼之間吞滅他們。』
