Now about our brother Apollos: I strongly urged him to go to you with the brothers. He was quite unwilling to go now, but he will go when he has the opportunity.

I want to say something about our brother Apollos. I tried my best to get him to go to you with the others. But he didn’t want to go right now. He will go when he can.

亚波罗算什么？保罗算什么？无非是执事，照主所赐给他们各人的，引导你们相信。

有一个犹太人，名叫亚波罗，来到以弗所。他生在亚历山大，是有学问的，最能讲解圣经。这人已经在主的道上受了教训，心里火热，将耶稣的事详细讲论教训人；只是他单晓得约翰的洗礼。他在会堂里放胆讲道；百基拉、亚居拉听见，就接他来，将神的道给他讲解更加详细。他想要往亚该亚去，弟兄们就勉励他，并写信请门徒接待他。他到了那里，多帮助那蒙恩信主的人，在众人面前极有能力驳倒犹太人，引圣经证明耶稣是基督。亚波罗在哥林多的时候，保罗经过了上边一带地方，就来到以弗所；在那里遇见几个门徒，

或保罗，或亚波罗，或矶法，或世界，或生，或死，或现今的事，或将来的事，全是你们的；

凡事都有定期，天下万务都有定时。

保罗讲论公义、节制，和将来的审判。腓力斯甚觉恐惧，说：“你暂且去吧，等我得便再叫你来。”

但到了神我们救主的恩慈和他向人所施的慈爱显明的时候，

有一天，恰巧是希律的生日，希律摆设筵席，请了大臣和千夫长，并加利利作首领的。
