岂不知你们的身体就是圣灵的殿吗？你们里面住着上帝所赐的圣灵。你们不再属于自己，

岂不知你们就是上帝的殿，上帝的灵住在你们里面吗？

所以，不要让罪辖制你们必死的身体，使你们顺从身体的私欲；

岂不知入口的东西都是进到肚子里，然后排泄到厕所里吗？

因为丈夫是妻子的头，正如基督是祂的身体——教会的头，又是教会的救主。

难道你们不知道你们的身体就是基督的肢体吗？我能将基督的肢体与妓女的肢体联合吗？绝对不能！

上帝的旨意是要你们圣洁，远避淫乱的事，要你们人人都知道持守身体的圣洁和尊贵，不可荒淫纵欲，像那些不认识上帝的外族人一样。你们在这种事上不可越轨，亏负弟兄姊妹。我们曾经对你们说过，并且郑重地警告过你们，主必惩治犯这种罪的人。因为上帝呼召我们不是要我们沾染污秽，而是要我们圣洁。

这些规条不过是人的戒律和说教，经不起实践的考验，看似充满智慧，其实只不过是自创的宗教、自表谦卑、苦待己身，对于克制邪情私欲毫无用处。

因为上帝的国不是关乎吃什么喝什么，而是关乎公义、平安和圣灵所赐的喜乐。

因为不能进入他的心，只能进他的肠胃，最后会排出来，也就是说所有的食物都是洁净的。

不要为那必坏的食物劳苦，要为那存到永生的食物，就是人子要赐给你们的食物劳苦，因为父上帝把这权柄交给了人子。”

因为我们没有人为自己活，也没有人为自己死。我们活是为主而活，死是为主而死。因此，我们无论生死都是属主的人。正是为这个缘故，基督死了，又复活了，好做死人和活人的主。

所以，弟兄姊妹，我凭上帝的怜悯劝你们献上自己的身体，作圣洁、蒙上帝悦纳的活祭。你们理当这样事奉。

你们的祖先在旷野吃过吗哪，还是死了。

我的弟兄姊妹，同样，你们借着基督的身体向着律法也死了，使你们可以归于那位从死里复活的基督，好为上帝结果子。

祂为众人死，是要叫那些活着的人不再为自己活，而是要为替他们死而复活的基督活。

这些东西才使人污秽。不洗手吃饭并不会使人污秽。”

他们都吃过同样的灵粮，都喝过同样的灵水，因为他们从那与他们同行的属灵磐石中得水喝，那磐石就是基督。尽管如此，他们当中大多数人不讨上帝的喜悦，倒毙在旷野。

我要求你们忠贞不渝，正如上帝要求祂的子民忠贞不渝一样。因为我曾把你们当作贞洁的少女许配给一位丈夫——基督。
