小子們哪，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識父。父老啊，我曾寫信給你們，因為你們認識那從起初原有的。少年人哪，我曾寫信給你們；因為你們剛強，神的道常存在你們心裏；你們也勝了那惡者。

一切所有的都是我父交付我的；除了父，沒有人知道子是誰；除了子和子所願意指示的，沒有人知道父是誰。」

小子們哪，你們是屬神的，並且勝了他們；因為那在你們裏面的，比那在世界上的更大。

我們知道凡從神生的，必不犯罪，從神生的，必保守自己，那惡者也就無法害他。

一切所有的，都是我父交付我的；除了父，沒有人知道子；除了子和子所願意指示的，沒有人知道父。

他們這樣行，是因未曾認識父，也未曾認識我。

神說：因為他專心愛我，我就要搭救他；因為他知道我的名，我要把他安置在高處。

我們若遵守他的誡命，就曉得是認識他。人若說「我認識他」，卻不遵守他的誡命，便是說謊話的，真理也不在他心裏了。

強壯乃少年人的榮耀；白髮為老年人的尊榮。

我小子們哪，我將這些話寫給你們，是要叫你們不犯罪。若有人犯罪，在父那裏我們有一位中保，就是那義者耶穌基督。

少年人和處女，老年人和孩童，都當讚美耶和華！

使他們都合而為一。正如你父在我裏面，我在你裏面，使他們也在我們裏面，叫世人可以信你差了我來。

他們就問他說：「你的父在哪裏？」耶穌回答說：「你們不認識我，也不認識我的父；若是認識我，也就認識我的父。」

凡聽見天國道理不明白的，那惡者就來，把所撒在他心裏的奪了去；這就是撒在路旁的了。

耶穌回答說：「我若榮耀自己，我的榮耀就算不得甚麼；榮耀我的乃是我的父，就是你們所說是你們的神。你們未曾認識他；我卻認識他。我若說不認識他，我就是說謊的，像你們一樣；但我認識他，也遵守他的道。
