因为假基督们和假先知们会出现，行大神迹和奇事，如果有可能，甚至迷惑那些蒙拣选的人。

各位蒙爱的人哪，你们不要每一个灵都相信，而要分辨这些灵是否出于神，因为有许多假先知已经在世上出现了。

你应当知道这一点：在末后的日子里，将有艰难的时候来到；因为人们将会爱自己、爱钱财，又自夸、又骄傲，亵渎神、悖逆父母、忘恩负义、毫不圣洁、没有亲情、不肯和解、恶意控告、不能自制、残忍凶暴、不爱良善、背叛出卖、任意妄为、自以为是，爱享乐过于爱神，有敬神的外表，却否定敬神的实质；这样的人你要避开。他们当中有些人溜进别人家里，虏获无知的妇女。这些妇女被罪孽压制，被各种欲望牵引，

不过圣灵明确地说，在末后的时代有些人会离开这信仰，听从迷惑人的邪灵和鬼魔的教义。这些教义出于说谎之人的伪善，这些人的良心已经麻木了。他们禁止结婚，要求远避某些食物，就是神所创造的，好让信徒和了解真理的人以感谢的心享用。

因为时候将到，人们容忍不了健全的教义，反要顺着自己的欲望，为自己的耳朵能被呵痒得舒服，去召聚许多教师。他们将掩耳不听真理，却转向编造的故事。

你们首先要知道这一点：在末后的日子里，将有好讥诮的人出来讥诮，他们顺着自己的欲望生活，

许多人会以我的名而来，声称‘我就是那一位’，并且会迷惑许多人。

我知道在我离开以后，凶恶的豺狼将进入你们中间，不会顾惜羊群。你们自己当中也会有人起来，讲说一些歪曲的道理，要拉拢门徒跟随他们。

并且会有许多假先知起来，迷惑许多人；
