He said,“ Go out, and stand on the mountain before Yahweh.” Behold, Yahweh passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains, and broke in pieces the rocks before Yahweh; but Yahweh was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake; but Yahweh was not in the earthquake.

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，在我面前。”那时耶和华从那里经过，在他面前有烈风大作，崩山碎石，耶和华却不在风中；风后地震，耶和华却不在其中；

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，在耶和华面前。”看哪，耶和华从那里经过。在耶和华面前有烈风大作，山崩石裂，耶和华却不在风中；风后有地震，耶和华也不在其中；

曰、爾其出穴、立於山崗、在耶和華前、時、耶和華過焉、其前有風、大而且猛、裂山碎石、惟耶和華不在風中、風後地震、耶和華不在其中、

曰、當出立於山岡、在於我前、斯時耶和華過焉。在其前有風、勢大而猛、裂山破石。耶和華不御風而至。風後地震、地震之際、耶和華亦不降臨。

主曰、爾出、立於山在我前、斯時主過焉、在主前烈風大作、裂山碎石、但主不在其中、風後地震、但主亦不在其中、

The Lord said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

The Lord said,“ Go out. Stand on the mountain in front of me. I am going to pass by.” As the Lord approached, a very powerful wind tore the mountains apart. It broke up the rocks. But the Lord wasn’t in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake. But the Lord wasn’t in the earthquake.

And he said,“ Go out and stand on the mount before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore the mountains and broke in pieces the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

“ Go out and stand before me on the mountain,” the Lord told him. And as Elijah stood there, the Lord passed by, and a mighty windstorm hit the mountain. It was such a terrible blast that the rocks were torn loose, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

Then he said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain in the LORD’s presence.” At that moment, the LORD passed by. A great and mighty wind was tearing at the mountains and was shattering cliffs before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.

So He said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord was passing by! And a great and powerful wind was tearing out the mountains and breaking the rocks in pieces before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind. And after the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

Then He said,“ Go out, and stand on the mountain before the Lord.” And behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake;

And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before Jehovah. And, behold, Jehovah passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before Jehovah; but Jehovah was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but Jehovah was not in the earthquake:

Then He said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain in the Lord’s presence.” At that moment, the Lord passed by. A great and mighty wind was tearing at the mountains and was shattering cliffs before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD;[ but] the LORD[ was] not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake;[ but] the LORD[ was] not in the earthquake:

The LORD said,“ Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD. Look, the LORD is ready to pass by.” A very powerful wind went before the LORD, digging into the mountain and causing landslides, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the windstorm there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.

I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north: a great cloud, with flashing lightning, and a brightness around it, and out of the middle of it as it were glowing metal, out of the middle of the fire.

So I prophesied as I was commanded. As I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, there was an earthquake. Then the bones came together, bone to its bone.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”

For you have not come to a mountain that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and to blackness, darkness, storm,the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,for they could not stand that which was commanded,“ If even an animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned”.So fearful was the appearance that Moses said,“ I am terrified and trembling.”

Yahweh came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain. Yahweh called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

Be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me on the top of the mountain.

Yahweh will cause his glorious voice to be heard, and will show the descent of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and the flame of a devouring fire, with a blast, storm, and hailstones.

Moses entered into the middle of the cloud, and went up on the mountain; and Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.

You shall flee by the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach to Azel; yes, you shall flee, just like you fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Yahweh my God will come, and all the holy ones with you.

Yahweh also said,“ Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand on the rock.It will happen, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand until I have passed by;then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back; but my face shall not be seen.”

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.

After six days, Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John his brother, and brought them up into a high mountain by themselves.He was changed before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.

There was a trembling in the camp, in the field, and among all the people; the garrison, and the raiders, also trembled; and the earth quaked, so there was an exceedingly great trembling.

Yahweh is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Yahweh has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt away. The earth trembles at his presence, yes, the world, and all who dwell in it.Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.

Then he answered and spoke to me, saying,“ This is Yahweh’s word to Zerubbabel, saying,‘ Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says Yahweh of Armies.

I saw a great white throne, and him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. There was found no place for them.

The earth trembled. The sky also poured down rain at the presence of the God of Sinai— at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying,“ Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens.”

Behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split.The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, they entered into the holy city and appeared to many.Now the centurion, and those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying,“ Truly this was the Son of God.”

There were lightnings, sounds, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as has not happened since there were men on the earth, so great an earthquake, and so mighty.

Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed,“ Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth,

Then Yahweh answered Job out of the whirlwind,

All the people perceived the thunderings, the lightnings, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking. When the people saw it, they trembled, and stayed at a distance.

God’s temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord’s covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.

For he received from God the Father honor and glory when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory,“ This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”We heard this voice come out of heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain.

Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.

God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and his praise filled the earth.His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden.Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.

Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky, and came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat on it.

On the third day, when it was morning, there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain, and the sound of an exceedingly loud trumpet; and all the people who were in the camp trembled.
