“别放过巴户琳的便雅悯人基拉的儿子示每。我逃亡到玛哈念的时候，他曾用恶毒的话咒骂我。后来他到约旦河迎接我的时候，我曾凭耶和华起誓不杀他。但你不要放过他。你是个聪明人，应该知道怎样处置他。你要让他白头落地，不得善终。”

明君必筛出恶人，用石磙碾轧他们。

大卫王来到巴户琳时，扫罗家族基拉的儿子示每出来对着大卫破口大骂，还朝大卫和他的臣仆扔石头，无视大卫身边的众多部下和勇士。示每骂大卫：“滚吧！滚吧！你这个杀人凶手，你这个败类！你杀扫罗的家人，夺其王位，耶和华报应了你，把江山交给了你儿子押沙龙。你这杀人凶手是自食恶果！”洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛对王说：“这死狗竟敢辱骂我主我王，让我过去砍掉他的头！”

押沙龙在耶路撒冷住了两年，没有跟王见过面。

王说：“让押沙龙回自己的家，不要让他来见我！”押沙龙便返回自己家中，没有朝见王。

王坐在宝座上审判，他的眼目明察罪恶。
