I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.

I will give it to you. I will give you a wise and understanding heart. So here is what will be true of you. There has never been anyone like you. And there never will be.

behold, I now do according to your word. Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none like you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you.

I will give you what you asked for! I will give you a wise and understanding heart such as no one else has had or ever will have!

I will therefore do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has never been anyone like you before and never will be again.

我竊自思、我得大業、具智慧、耶路撒冷人、自古以來、未有若此者也。

希蘭與所羅門立約、以修和好、耶和華循其所許、以智慧賜所羅門。

所羅門之智慧貨財、甲天下列王。上帝賦所羅門以智慧、天下億兆、咸求見焉。

以色列族眾、聞王所擬若是、知王感於上帝、得智以折中、故無不寅畏焉。

我儕荏弱、聖神助我、我不識所當禱者、聖神以不可言之嘅嘆代我禱也、監眾心者、識聖神意因其代聖徒祈禱、遵上帝旨、

循爾智慧以行、不使其皓然白首、安樂歸墓。

惟爾有智、知所當為、必視示每若負罪戾、使其皓然白首、流血歸墓。

又曰、當頌讚造天地者、以色列族之上帝耶和華、賜大闢王賢子、賦以智慧、能建耶和華殿、及王宮室。

上帝賜所羅門智高識廣、如海濱之沙、不可測量、論其智慧、勝於東方之子、埃及之民多矣。亦勝於以士拉人以探、希慢、甲各、達大、馬曷諸子、以及兆人、其名洋溢乎四方。所羅門作諺三千言、作詩千有五篇、其論草木、自利巴嫩之柏香木、及墻上之牛膝草、又論禽獸蟲魚。天下列王。聞所羅門智慧、遣其民人、願聽聞焉。

專心致志、窮察天下事、知上帝以斯任畀人、使竭其心思。

所羅門隨問而答、無所不知、明晰以告。示巴女王、見所羅門智慧具備、又觀其所建之殿、筵席臚陳、僕役班列、臣工酒正、衣朝服而侍、及耶和華殿所奉之燔祭、則神為之奪、告王曰、彼邑聞爾作為、與爾智慧、其言不虛、我初不信、及我涖臨、目擊斯事、乃知所聞、猶不及所見之半也。爾之智慧全備、較我所聞者、尤覺其多、爾群臣、爾僕役、恆侍於爾前、聞爾智慧、甚有福祉。

蓋我將賜爾口才智慧、使諸仇不能辯駁敵對、

彼未祈予、予應其祈、啟口之際、我已俯聞。

貧者上祈、耶和華傾耳垂聽、而堅其志兮、

一切睿智識見、皆蓄積隱藏於基督衷、

上帝告所羅門曰、我立汝為王、以臨民、乃爾心不求財貨、尊榮、遐齡、勝敵、惟求智慧聰明、能聽民之訟、故我許爾所求、以智慧聰明賜爾、更以貨財尊榮予爾、爾之前王、未有若是、爾之後人亦不能若是。

告王曰、彼邑聞爾作為、與爾智慧、其言不虛、我初不信、及我涖臨、目擊斯事、乃知所聞猶不及所見之半也、爾之智慧全備、較我所聞、尤覺其多。爾群臣、爾僕役、恆侍爾前、聞爾智慧、甚有福祉。當頌美爾上帝耶和華、以爾為悅、使繼國位、代耶和華以臨民、因爾上帝恆愛以色列族、俾爾為王、秉厥公義、以聽其訟。

南方女王、當審判時、將起而罪此世之人、以女王猶且來自地極、聽所羅門哲言、況大於所羅門者在此乎、○
