And Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. These countries brought tribute and were Solomon’s subjects all his life.

当那日，耶和华与亚伯兰立约，说：“我已赐给你的后裔，从埃及河直到幼发拉底大河之地，

从旷野和这黎巴嫩，直到幼发拉底大河，赫人的全地，又到大海日落之处，都要作你们的境界。

因你耶路撒冷的殿，列王必带贡物献给你。

我要定你的境界，从红海直到非利士海，又从旷野直到大河。我要将那地的居民交在你手中，你要将他们从你面前撵出去。

但有些匪徒说：“这人怎能救我们呢？”就藐视他，没有送他礼物；扫罗却不理会。

从前耶路撒冷也有大君王统管河西全地，人就给他们进贡，交课，纳税。

所罗门统管诸王，从大河到非利士地，直到埃及的边界。王在耶路撒冷使银子多如石头，香柏木多如高原的桑树。有人从埃及和各国为所罗门赶马群来。所罗门其余的事，自始至终，不都写在先知拿单的书上和示罗人亚希雅的预言书上，并先见易多论尼八儿子耶罗波安的默示书上吗？所罗门在耶路撒冷作以色列众人的王共四十年。所罗门与他列祖同睡，葬在他父大卫城里。他儿子罗波安接续他作王。

所以耶和华坚定他的国，犹大众人给他进贡；约沙法大有尊荣资财。

所罗门管理大河西边的诸王，以及从提弗萨直到迦萨的全地，四境尽都平安。

凡你们脚掌所踏之地都必归你们；从旷野和黎巴嫩，并幼发拉底大河，直到西海，都要作你们的境界。

他要执掌权柄，从这海直到那海，从大河直到地极。住在旷野的，必在他面前下拜；他的仇敌必要舔土。他施和海岛的王要进贡；示巴和西巴的王要献礼物。诸王都要叩拜他；万国都要侍奉他。

你们许愿，当向耶和华你们的神还愿；在他四面的人都当拿贡物献给那可畏的主。

亚述王撒缦以色上来攻击何细亚，何细亚就服侍他，给他进贡。

有许多人到耶路撒冷，将供物献与耶和华，又将宝物送给犹大王希西家。此后，希西家在列邦人的眼中看为尊大。
