but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

Instead, you were bought with the priceless blood of Christ. He is a perfect lamb. He doesn’t have any flaws at all.

It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God.

If we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

He did not commit sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth;when he was insulted, he did not insult in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten but entrusted himself to the one who judges justly.He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

And they sang a new song: You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slaughtered, and you purchased people for God by your blood from every tribe and language and people and nation.

You must have an unblemished animal, a year-old male; you may take it from either the sheep or the goats.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

He himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for those of the whole world.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which he purchased with his own blood.

For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
