so he sent men to capture him. But when they saw a group of prophets prophesying, with Samuel standing there as their leader, the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men, and they also prophesied.

So Saul sent some men to capture him. When they got there, they saw a group of prophets who were prophesying. Samuel was standing there as their leader. Then the Spirit of God came on Saul’s men. So they also began to prophesy.

Then Saul sent messengers to take David, and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Samuel standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came upon the messengers of Saul, and they also prophesied.

法利赛人听到了众人私下议论耶稣的这些事。于是祭司长们和法利赛人就派差役们去抓他。

他来到那座山，看哪，有一队先知迎见他。神的灵大大临到他，他就在他们中间说预言。

扫罗派人去捉拿大卫时，米甲说：“他生病了。”

扫罗派人到大卫家去监视他，要在清晨杀他。大卫的妻子米甲警告大卫说：“你今夜如果不逃命，明天就会被杀死。”

“此后你要去神的山，那里有非利士的驻军。你到那城的时候，会遇见一队先知正从高所下来，他们都在说预言；在他们前面有弹里拉琴的、击鼓的、吹笛的、弹竖琴的。耶和华的灵会大大临到你，你就会与他们一同说预言，转变为另一个人。

但如果大家都做先知传道，有一个不信的或不明白的人进来，他就会因这一切而知罪、受到责问，他心中隐秘的事就会显露出来。这样，他就会把脸伏在地上敬拜神，承认说：“神真的是在你们中间！”

差役们回到祭司长们和法利赛人那里。那些人问：“为什么没有把他带来？”差役们回答：“从来没有人像这个人那样讲话！”法利赛人说：“难道你们也被迷惑了吗？难道首领或法利赛人中有信他的吗？这不懂律法的民众是被诅咒的！”他们当中有一个人，就是原先来到耶稣那里的尼克迪莫，对他们说：“如果不先听本人的口供，并且了解他做了什么，我们的律法就定不了他的罪，难道不是吗？”他们回答说：“你也不会是加利利人吧？你去查一查看，先知是不会从加利利兴起的！”

可是那做先知传道的是对人说，为要造就、鼓励和安慰人。
