王乃使但以理為大、加以重賚、立之治巴比倫全州、為巴比倫哲士之長、

我所愛之兄弟乎、聽之哉、上帝豈非選斯世之貧者、使富於信、而承其所許於愛己者之國乎、

我肇基大地時、爾安在、爾有智、則言之、誰定其度、誰引繩於其上、爾必知之、何處置地基、何人立隅石、

使我儕為國、為其父上帝之祭司、願榮與權歸之、以至世世、阿們、

使之為國、為祭司、歸我上帝、且王於地、

撒母耳曰、昔爾自視雖微、非立為以色列支派之長乎、耶和華膏爾為以色列王、

爾可治我家、我民舉止、咸遵爾命、我尊於爾、只在國位、

蓋彼建之於海中、奠之於淵際兮、

故當謂我僕大衛曰、萬軍之耶和華云、我自羊牢中、羊羣後、取爾為我民以色列之君、

奠地之基、永不動搖兮、

上古爾奠地基、諸天爾手所造兮、

法老遣使召約瑟、急令出獄、薙髮易衣、入覲法老、

此乃儆醒者所定、聖使所命、使生民咸知至上者治世人之國、隨意畀人、立人間之至卑者主之、

為惡者不衛其生、困苦者俾得其直、彼顧義人、不轉厥目、使同君王、永坐於位、以致崇高、

蓋少者在其國生而貧乏、出獄而為王焉、

但以理心性佳妙、愈於其他宰輔、及諸方伯、王欲立之治理全國、

彼以其臂施厥能力、心志驕者散之、有權者黜其位、卑下者舉而上之、

獲勝者我將使之偕坐於我座、如我獲勝、而偕我父坐於其座也、

不復有夜、無需燈光日光、蓋主上帝光耀之、且彼眾秉權、以至世世、○

彼為上帝榮之光華、質之真像、且以有能之言持載萬有、既潔眾罪、則坐於皇皇在上者之右、

乃坐於灰、以片瓦搔身、
