When Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said,“ Here is the man that I told you about! He will rule over my people.”

撒母耳看见扫罗的时候，耶和华对他说：“看哪，这人就是我对你所说的，他必治理我的民。”

撒母耳看见扫罗的时候，耶和华对他说：“看哪，这就是我对你所说的人，他必治理我的百姓。”

撒母耳看见扫罗的时候，耶和华对他说：“看哪，这就是我对你所说的人，他必治理我的百姓。”

撒母耳看见扫罗的时候，耶和华就对他说：“这就是我对你说的那个人，他将统治我的子民。”

撒母耳看见了扫罗，耶和华就对撒母耳说：“你看，这就是我对你所说的那人，他要统治我的子民。”

当撒母耳看见扫罗时，耶和华就对撒母耳说：“看哪，这就是我对你所说的那个人！这人将统治我的子民。”

當撒母耳看見掃羅時，耶和華就對撒母耳說：「看哪，這就是我對你所說的那個人！這人將統治我的子民。」

When Samuel caught sight of Saul, the Lord said to him,“ This is the man I spoke to you about; he will govern my people.”

When Samuel saw a man coming toward him, the Lord spoke to Samuel again. He said,“ He is the man I told you about. His name is Saul. He will govern my people.”

When Samuel saw Saul, the Lord told him,“ Here is the man of whom I spoke to you! He it is who shall restrain my people.”

When Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said,“ That’s the man I told you about! He will rule my people.”

When Samuel saw Saul, the LORD told him,“ Here is the man I told you about; he will govern my people.”

When Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him,“ Behold, the man of whom I spoke to you! This one shall rule over My people.”

So when Samuel saw Saul, the Lord said to him,“ There he is, the man of whom I spoke to you. This one shall reign over My people.”

And when Samuel saw Saul, Jehovah said unto him, Behold, the man of whom I spake to thee! this same shall have authority over my people.

When Samuel saw Saul, the Lord told him,“ Here is the man I told you about; he will rule over My people.”

And when Samuel saw Saul, the LORD said unto him, Behold the man whom I spake to thee of! this same shall reign over my people.

When Samuel saw Saul, Yahweh said to him,“ Behold, the man of whom I spoke to you! He will have authority over my people.”

I granted you a king in my anger, and I will take him away in my wrath!

Then they asked for a king, and God gave them Saul son of Kish, a man from the tribe of Benjamin, who ruled forty years.

( for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). Do you desire not to fear authority? Do good and you will receive its commendation,for it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be in fear, for it does not bear the sword in vain. It is God’s servant to administer retribution on the wrongdoer.

When they arrived, Samuel noticed Eliab and said to himself,“ Surely, here before the LORD stands his chosen king!”But the LORD said to Samuel,“ Don’t be impressed by his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. God does not view things the way men do. People look on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”Then Jesse called Abinadab and presented him to Samuel. But Samuel said,“ The LORD has not chosen this one, either.”Then Jesse presented Shammah. But Samuel said,“ The LORD has not chosen this one either.”Jesse presented seven of his sons to Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse,“ The LORD has not chosen any of these.”Then Samuel said to Jesse,“ Is that all of the young men?” Jesse replied,“ There is still the youngest one, but he’s taking care of the flock.” Samuel said to Jesse,“ Send and get him, for we cannot turn our attention to other things until he comes here.”So Jesse had him brought in. Now he was ruddy, with attractive eyes and a handsome appearance. The LORD said,“ Go and anoint him. This is the one!”

When the evening shadows began to fall on the gates of Jerusalem before the Sabbath, I ordered the doors to be closed. I further directed that they were not to be opened until after the Sabbath. I positioned some of my young men at the gates so that no load could enter on the Sabbath day.

You should tell him that I am about to judge his house forever because of the sin that he knew about. For his sons were cursing God, and he did not rebuke them.

So I entered a complaint with them. I called down a curse on them, and I struck some of the men and pulled out their hair. I had them swear by God saying,“ You will not marry off your daughters to their sons, and you will not take any of their daughters as wives for your sons or for yourselves!

But evil people are like thorns– all of them are tossed away, for they cannot be held in the hand.The one who touches them must use an iron instrument or the wooden shaft of a spear. They are completely burned up right where they lie!”
