if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.

Instead, his delight is in the LORD’s instruction, and he meditates on it day and night.He is like a tree planted beside flowing streams that bears its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

It is to remain with him, and he is to read from it all the days of his life, so that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to observe all the words of this instruction, and to do these statutes.

Be diligent to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, correctly teaching the word of truth.Avoid irreverent and empty speech, since those who engage in it will produce even more godlessness,and their teaching will spread like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are among them.

On the other hand, the person who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouragement, and consolation.

“ Have you understood all these things?” They answered him,“ Yes.”“ Therefore,” he said to them,“ every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom treasures new and old.”

I write these things to you, hoping to come to you soon.But if I should be delayed, I have written so that you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

This book of instruction must not depart from your mouth; you are to meditate on it day and night so that you may carefully observe everything written in it. For then you will prosper and succeed in whatever you do.

So now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you with a revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

if exhorting, in exhortation; giving, with generosity; leading, with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness.
