Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

The result of humility and the fear of Yahweh is wealth, honor, and life.

The fear of Yahweh leads to life, then contentment; he rests and will not be touched by trouble.

For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.

no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.“ Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments.His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.Wealth and riches are in his house. His righteousness endures forever.

“ Don’t handle, nor taste, nor touch”( all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?These things indeed appear like wisdom in self- imposed worship, humility, and severity to the body; but aren’t of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

Length of days is in her right hand. In her left hand are riches and honor.Her ways are ways of pleasantness. All her paths are peace.She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.

He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them.

I hate, I despise your feasts, and I can’t stand your solemn assemblies.Yes, though you offer me your burnt offerings and meal offerings, I will not accept them; neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat animals.Take away from me the noise of your songs! I will not listen to the music of your harps.But let justice roll on like rivers, and righteousness like a mighty stream.

Therefore the Lord Yahweh says,“ Behold, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry; behold, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, my servants will rejoice, but you will be disappointed;Behold, my servants will sing for joy of heart, but you will cry for sorrow of heart, and will wail for anguish of spirit.

“ What are the multitude of your sacrifices to me?”, says Yahweh.“ I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed animals. I don’t delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.When you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to trample my courts?Bring no more vain offerings. Incense is an abomination to me. New moons, Sabbaths, and convocations: I can’t stand evil assemblies.My soul hates your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to me. I am weary of bearing them.When you spread out your hands, I will hide my eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.

The righteous shall inherit the land, and live in it forever.

Tell the righteous“ Good!” For they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

Samuel said,“ Has Yahweh as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying Yahweh’s voice? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to listen than the fat of rams.

he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure.

Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.

To what purpose does frankincense from Sheba come to me, and the sweet cane from a far country? Your burnt offerings are not acceptable, and your sacrifices are not pleasing to me.”

For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.

But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Don’t be carried away by various and strange teachings, for it is good that the heart be established by grace, not by food, through which those who were so occupied were not benefited.

It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.All these blessings will come upon you, and overtake you, if you listen to Yahweh your God’s voice.You shall be blessed in the city, and you shall be blessed in the field.You shall be blessed in the fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the fruit of your animals, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock.Your basket and your kneading trough shall be blessed.You shall be blessed when you come in, and you shall be blessed when you go out.Yahweh will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be struck before you. They will come out against you one way, and will flee before you seven ways.Yahweh will command the blessing on you in your barns, and in all that you put your hand to. He will bless you in the land which Yahweh your God gives you.Yahweh will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and walk in his ways.All the peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will be afraid of you.Yahweh will grant you abundant prosperity in the fruit of your body, in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers to give you.Yahweh will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, and you will not borrow.Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail. You will be above only, and you will not be beneath, if you listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you today, to observe and to do,and shall not turn away from any of the words which I command you today, to the right hand or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked.For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous.Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever.They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, who walks in his ways.For you will eat the labor of your hands. You will be happy, and it will be well with you.Your wife will be as a fruitful vine in the innermost parts of your house, your children like olive plants around your table.Behold, thus is the man blessed who fears Yahweh.May Yahweh bless you out of Zion, and may you see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel.

“ Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.My people will live in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places,

“ Can a man be profitable to God? Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself.

‘ Why have we fasted,’ they say,‘ and you don’t see? Why have we afflicted our soul, and you don’t notice?’“ Behold, in the day of your fast you find pleasure, and oppress all your laborers.Behold, you fast for strife and contention, and to strike with the fist of wickedness. You don’t fast today so as to make your voice to be heard on high.Is this the fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to humble his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under himself? Will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh?

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.

This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,being only( with meats and drinks and various washings) fleshly ordinances, imposed until a time of reformation.

seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue,by which he has granted to us his precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust.

But food will not commend us to God. For neither, if we don’t eat, are we the worse; nor, if we eat, are we the better.

He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.

This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.

But seek God’s Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

You know the commandments:‘ Do not murder,’‘ Do not commit adultery,’‘ Do not steal,’‘ Do not give false testimony,’‘ Do not defraud,’‘ Honor your father and mother.’”He said to him,“ Teacher, I have observed all these things from my youth.”
