在耶路撒冷，獻殿節到了，那時是冬天。

君王要在節期、月朔、安息日，就是在以色列家一切規定的節日上，奉上燔祭、素祭和奠祭。他要預備贖罪祭、素祭、燔祭和平安祭，為以色列家贖罪。”

所羅門王和那些聚集到他那裡的以色列全體會眾，都在約櫃前獻上牛羊為祭，數量無法計算，不能數點。

第二天，他們向耶和華獻祭，他們向耶和華獻上燔祭；那一天他們獻了公牛一千頭、公綿羊一千隻、羊羔一千隻，以及同獻的奠祭，又為以色列眾人獻了許多祭。

以色列祭司和利未人，以及其餘被擄歸回的人都歡歡喜喜舉行奉獻這神殿的典禮。在奉獻這神殿的典禮中，他們獻上公牛一百頭、公綿羊二百隻、綿羊羔四百隻；又照著以色列支派的數目獻上公山羊十二隻，作全以色列的贖罪祭。

王和所有與他在一起的以色列人都在耶和華面前獻祭。所羅門向耶和華獻平安祭，牛二萬二千頭，羊十二萬隻；這樣，王和以色列眾人為耶和華的殿舉行了奉獻典禮。

所羅門上到耶和華會幕前面的銅祭壇旁邊，在壇上獻上了一千隻燔祭牲。

耶和華喜悅千千的公羊，或是萬萬的油河嗎？為我的過犯，我可以獻上我的長子嗎？為我的罪惡，獻上我親生的孩子嗎？

用膏抹祭壇的日子，眾領袖都獻上奉獻祭壇的禮物；眾領袖把自己的供物獻在祭壇前。

那一天，他們從奪回來的戰利品當中，把七百頭牛，七千隻羊，獻給耶和華為祭，

於是約西亞送出綿羊羔和山羊羔共三萬隻，還有公牛三千頭，給所有在場的人民作逾越節的祭牲；這些都是取自王的財產。約西亞手下的眾領袖也自願把祭牲送給人民、祭司和利未人；又有神殿的總管希勒家、撒迦利亞和耶歇，也把羔羊二千六百隻和公牛三百頭，送給祭司作逾越節的祭牲。利未人的領袖歌楠雅和他的兩個兄弟示瑪雅和拿坦業，以及哈沙比雅、耶利和約撒拔，也把羊羔五千隻和公牛五百頭，送給利未人作逾越節的祭牲。

猶大王希西家送給會眾公牛一千頭，羊七千隻；眾領袖也送給會眾公牛一千頭，羊一萬隻；並且有很多祭司自潔。
