For every one of God’s promises is“ Yes” in him. Therefore, through him we also say“ Amen” to the glory of God.

故無論天主之恩諾為如何多且盛也、惟在耶穌身上、則皆實事求是、無絲毫之虛妄；而吾人之所以能心悅誠服、歸榮於天主、而應『心焉祝之』者、亦憑耶穌而已矣。

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are“ Yes” in Christ. And so through him the“ Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

God has made a great many promises. They are all“ Yes” because of what Christ has done. So through Christ we say“ Amen.” We want God to receive glory.

For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.

For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding“ Yes!” And through Christ, our“ Amen”( which means“ Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.

For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

For how many soever be the promises of God, in him is the yea: wherefore also through him is the Amen, unto the glory of God through us.

For every one of God’s promises is“ Yes” in Him. Therefore, the“ Amen” is also spoken through Him by us for God’s glory.

What you have heard from the beginning is to remain in you. If what you have heard from the beginning remains in you, then you will remain in the Son and in the Father.And this is the promise that he himself made to us: eternal life.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

to the praise of his glorious grace that he lavished on us in the Beloved One.

so that we who had already put our hope in Christ might bring praise to his glory.In him you also were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and when you believed.The Holy Spirit is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of the possession, to the praise of his glory.

saying, Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever. Amen.

“ Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea: Thus says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the originator of God’s creation:

For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

so that in the coming ages he might display the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin’s power, so that the promise might be given on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ to those who believe.

for the LORD will rebuild Zion; he will appear in his glory.

on that day when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

These all died in faith, although they had not received the things that were promised. But they saw them from a distance, greeted them, and confessed that they were foreigners and temporary residents on the earth.

You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, And all the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.God raised up his servant and sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your evil ways.”

All these were approved through their faith, but they did not receive what was promised,since God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us.

Jesus answered,“ Truly I tell you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say“ and to seeds,” as though referring to many, but referring to one, and to your seed, who is Christ.My point is this: The law, which came 430 years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously established by God and thus cancel the promise.For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise; but God has graciously given it to Abraham through the promise.

Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and provided redemption for his people.He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David,just as he spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets in ancient times;salvation from our enemies and from the hand of those who hate us.He has dealt mercifully with our ancestors and remembered his holy covenant—the oath that he swore to our father Abraham, to grant that we,having been rescued from the hand of our enemies, would serve him without fear

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to people he favors!

But one without this lineage collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed the one who had the promises.

And we ourselves proclaim to you the good news of the promise that was made to our ancestors.God has fulfilled this for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second Psalm: You are my Son; today I have become your Father.As to his raising him from the dead, never to return to decay, he has spoken in this way, I will give you the holy and sure promises of David.Therefore he also says in another passage, You will not let your Holy One see decay.For David, after serving God’s purpose in his own generation, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and decayed,but the one God raised up did not decay.Therefore, let it be known to you, brothers and sisters, that through this man forgiveness of sins is being proclaimed to you.Everyone who believes is justified through him from everything that you could not be justified from through the law of Moses.

Therefore welcome one another, just as Christ also welcomed you, to the glory of God.For I say that Christ became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers,and so that Gentiles may glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to your name.

so that you won’t become lazy but will be imitators of those who inherit the promises through faith and perseverance.For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he had no one greater to swear by, he swore by himself:I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply you.And so, after waiting patiently, Abraham obtained the promise.For people swear by something greater than themselves, and for them a confirming oath ends every dispute.Because God wanted to show his unchangeable purpose even more clearly to the heirs of the promise, he guaranteed it with an oath,so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain.

And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.

Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: See, the virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you. These things have now been announced to you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven— angels long to catch a glimpse of these things.

Otherwise, if you praise with the spirit, how will the outsider say“ Amen” at your giving of thanks, since he does not know what you are saying?

For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the LORD of Armies will accomplish this.

May his name endure forever; as long as the sun shines, may his fame increase. May all nations be blessed by him and call him blessed.

Whoever asks for a blessing in the land will ask for a blessing by the God of truth, and whoever swears in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my sight.

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

This grace was given to me— the least of all the saints— to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of Christ,and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things.This is so that God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens.

The scepter will not depart from Judah or the staff from between his feet until he whose right it is comes and the obedience of the peoples belongs to him.

for the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Indeed, everything is for your benefit so that, as grace extends through more and more people, it may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.

And all the nations of the earth will be blessed by your offspring because you have obeyed my command.”

For God who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

They are physical regulations and only deal with food, drink, and various washings imposed until the time of the new order.But Christ has appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come. In the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands( that is, not of this creation),he entered the most holy place once for all time, not by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption.For if the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow, sprinkling those who are defiled, sanctify for the purification of the flesh,how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we can serve the living God?Therefore, he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance, because a death has taken place for redemption from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.

God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
