交叉引用

  • Romans 5:20-21
The law was given so that sin would increase. But where sin increased, God’s grace increased even more.Sin ruled and brought death. But grace rules in the lives of those who are right with God. The grace of God brings eternal life. That’s because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done.
  • Hebrews 8:13
God called this covenant“ new.” So he has done away with the first one. And what is out of date and has been done away with will soon disappear.
  • Hebrews 7:21-25
But Jesus became a priest with a promise. God said to him,“ The Lord has given his word and made a promise. He will not change his mind. He has said,‘ You are a priest forever.’ ”( Psalm 110:4)Because God gave his word, Jesus makes certain the promise of a better covenant. There were many priests in Levi’s family line. Death kept them from continuing in office. But Jesus lives forever. So he always holds the office of priest.People now come to God through him. And he is able to save them completely and for all time. Jesus lives forever. He prays for them.

  • 2 Corinthians 3 6-2 Corinthians 3 7
He has given us the power to serve under a new covenant. The covenant is not based on the written Law of Moses. It comes from the Holy Spirit. The written Law kills, but the Spirit gives life. The Law was written in letters on stone. Even though it was a way of serving God, it led to death. But even that way of serving God came with glory. The glory lasted for only a short time. Even so, the people of Israel couldn’t look at Moses’ face very long.
  • Hebrews 12:25-29
Be sure that you don’t say no to the one who speaks. People did not escape when they said no to the one who warned them on earth. And what if we turn away from the one who warns us from heaven? How much less will we escape! At that time his voice shook the earth. But now he has promised,“ Once more I will shake the earth. I will also shake the heavens.”( Haggai 2:6)The words“ once more” point out that what can be shaken can be taken away. I’m talking about created things. Then what can’t be shaken will remain. We are receiving a kingdom that can’t be shaken. So let us be thankful. Then we can worship God in a way that pleases him. Let us worship him with deep respect and wonder. Our“ God is like a fire that burns everything up.”( Deuteronomy 4:24)
