惟其心頑、迄今讀舊約時、斯帕猶存、夫其帕因基督而廢矣、

其心愚頑、至於今日、讀舊約時、其帕尚存未除、此帕惟賴基督可除、

然若輩已冥頑成心、而不可感化矣。即在今日、讀舊約時、此帕猶依然未揭；而不知舊約已因基督而廢棄矣。

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者可見、見者反為瞽、在旁之𠵽唎㘔人聞此、則曰、我儕亦瞽乎、耶穌曰、爾瞽則無罪、今言能見、則爾罪尚在矣、

耶穌語眾曰、我乃世之光、從我者不行於暗、得生之光、

曰、天國之奧、與爾知之、不與他人也、

曰、摩西例、先知書、及詩篇、所載指我者、皆應、我素偕爾、曾言之矣、遂啟其聰、令悟諸經、曰、如記所言、基督當受害、三日復生、

曰、然則以色列人所求者、有不得乎、曰、選民得之、其餘則頑也、經云、上帝任其昏昧、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大闢曰、厥席成機檻以陷之、為礙石以罰之、厥目矇而勿見、厥背屈而不伸、

耶穌攜十二徒、謂之曰、我儕上耶路撒冷、先知所載人子者、必應也、其將解與異邦人、戲玩、凌辱、唾之、鞭扑、殺之、三日復生、斯語隱藏、門徒未達、不知所謂、○

我乃光臨世、使信我者弗居於暗、

目眊則全身暗、爾光若暗、其暗大哉、

故我設譬語之、以其視不見、聽不聞、而不悟也、其人如是、應以賽亞預言云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之焉、

人子、爾居違逆者中、彼有目視而不明、有耳聽而不聰、

維彼不識不知、其目若塗以泥、其心不明、

徧捫不見、無異瞽者、捫壁而行、雖在日中、亦顛其趾、無異昏暮、雖得福田、不能安享、無異死亡之輩。

民之戍卒、目眯不明、守夜之犬、喑不能吠、或偃卧、或假寐。

曰不智之徒、無慧者流、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言。

作惡者流、雖錫以寵光、亦不殷然慕義、居仁義之邦、橫行如故、耶和華有威可畏、彼不敬恪。耶和華與、爾顯大能、彼不瞻望、惟爾熱中祐民、降火燬敵、令彼見此而愧。耶和華與、爾賜我以平康、我所作為、俱蒙爾祐、

爾曹耳聾者宜聽、心盲者宜視、爾雖為我耶和華所遣之僕、所愛之民、無如爾聾爾瞽、甚於諸人、雖熟視若無睹、雖諦聽而不聞、

自古以來、列國兆民、其心昏昧若帕蒙面、今在此山、耶和華除之。

願厥目盲眯不明、厥體戰栗不已兮、

往告此民曰、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之、

賜我有能為新約之役、非循舊典、乃本於神、舊典致死、本神致生、

任斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視耳聽心悟、遷改而得醫焉、
