如果，那以條文刻在石版上、屬死亡的服事工作尚且帶有榮光——以致以色列子民因為摩西臉上那漸漸消失的榮光，不能注視他的臉——

夫致死之役、文鐫諸石、尚以榮而成、因摩西之榮、以色列人不能注視其面、此榮乃暫耳、

昔摩西面暫榮、以色列人不能注目視彼、夫以舊典致死之法鐫諸石、其榮且如此、

昔摩西之面有榮、其榮雖暫而將廢、以色列人不能注目觀之、致死之儀文、鐫於石版者、其役尚有此榮、

夫以肅殺之文字、勒之於石、供其役者、且有盛極一時之殊榮、甚至摩西面上光采煥發、非義塞子孫所得而直視焉；

Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was,

The Law was written in letters on stone. Even though it was a way of serving God, it led to death. But even that way of serving God came with glory. The glory lasted for only a short time. Even so, the people of Israel couldn’t look at Moses’ face very long.

Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses’ face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end,

The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses’ face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away.

Now if the ministry that brought death, chiseled in letters on stones, came with glory, so that the Israelites were not able to gaze steadily at Moses’s face because of its glory, which was set aside,

But if the ministry of death, engraved in letters on stones, came with glory so that the sons of Israel could not look intently at the face of Moses because of the glory of his face, fading as it was,

But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away,

But if the ministration of death, written, and engraven on stones, came with glory, so that the children of Israel could not look stedfastly upon the face of Moses for the glory of his face; which glory was passing away:

Now if the ministry of death, chiseled in letters on stones, came with glory, so that the Israelites were not able to look directly at Moses’ face because of the glory from his face— a fading glory—

But if the ministration of death, written[ and] engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which[ glory] was to be done away:

But if the ministry that produced death– carved in letters on stone tablets– came with glory, so that the Israelites could not keep their eyes fixed on the face of Moses because of the glory of his face( a glory which was made ineffective),

For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

For if the service of condemnation has glory, the service of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.For most certainly that which has been made glorious has not been made glorious in this respect, by reason of the glory that surpasses.For if that which passes away was with glory, much more that which remains is in glory.

but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.

being revealed that you are a letter of Christ, served by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tablets of stone, but in tablets that are hearts of flesh.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Come up to me on the mountain, and stay here, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commands that I have written, that you may teach them.”

When he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, he gave Moses the two tablets of the covenant, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.

The commandment which was for life, this I found to be for death;

As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.Behold, two men were talking with him, who were Moses and Elijah,who appeared in glory, and spoke of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem.

For the law produces wrath, for where there is no law, neither is there disobedience.

All who sat in the council, fastening their eyes on him, saw his face like it was the face of an angel.

At that time Yahweh said to me,“ Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.

who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire. The two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.

For I delight in God’s law after the inward man,

Moses turned, and went down from the mountain, with the two tablets of the covenant in his hand; tablets that were written on both their sides. They were written on one side and on the other.The tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets.

He declared to you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments. He wrote them on two stone tablets.

As soon as he came near to the camp, he saw the calf and the dancing. Then Moses’ anger grew hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mountain.

Yahweh God made garments of animal skins for Adam and for his wife, and clothed them.

Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy, and righteous, and good.Did then that which is good become death to me? May it never be! But sin, that it might be shown to be sin, was producing death in me through that which is good; that through the commandment sin might become exceedingly sinful.For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.

When I had gone up onto the mountain to receive the stone tablets, even the tablets of the covenant which Yahweh made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water.Yahweh delivered to me the two stone tablets written with God’s finger. On them were all the words which Yahweh spoke with you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly.It came to pass at the end of forty days and forty nights that Yahweh gave me the two stone tablets, even the tablets of the covenant.

He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mountain, Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him.When Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come near him.Moses called to them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned to him; and Moses spoke to them.Afterward all the children of Israel came near, and he gave them all the commandments that Yahweh had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.When Moses was done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out; and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel that which he was commanded.The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone; so Moses put the veil on his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Chisel two stone tablets like the first. I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.

How I love your law! It is my meditation all day.

and not as Moses, who put a veil on his face, that the children of Israel wouldn’t look steadfastly on the end of that which was passing away.But their minds were hardened, for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains, because in Christ it passes away.

I have longed for your salvation, Yahweh. Your law is my delight.

Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.

having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

“ You also came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments,

What great nation is there that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law which I set before you today?

Yahweh spoke these words to all your assembly on the mountain out of the middle of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice. He added no more. He wrote them on two stone tablets, and gave them to me.

Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, more than pure gold.Therefore I consider all of your precepts to be right. I hate every false way.
