我知此我屬地之幕屋既壞、則有天主所造、非人手所造之屋、永遠在天、

吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands.

可愛者乎、我儕今為天主之子、將來如何、尚未顯明、惟知彼顯現之時、我儕必似彼、蓋必見其真體也、

我知我救主存活、日後必立於地、我肌膚腐爛之後、我必在肉體以外、得見天主、

蓋我尚在此幕之時、勸勉爾、使爾憶此諸事、我以為宜然也、因知我幕將速撤、如我主耶穌基督示我者、

但我有此寶藏於土器、使人知此莫大之能、非由我、乃由天主也、

今基督已至、為將來美事之大祭司、由更大更全之幕、非人手所造、不屬此世者、

蓋基督非入手造之聖所、即真聖所之影像、乃實入於天、今為我儕立於天主前、

但屬神者不在先、屬血氣者在先、屬神者在後、首一人由地而出、乃屬地、後一人由天而出、即主也、彼屬地者如何、凡屬地者亦如何、彼屬天者如何、凡屬天者亦如何、

況居於土舍、其基塵埃、為蟲所蝕者乎、

我在此幕、勞而歎息、非欲離之、若脫衣然、乃欲得彼屋、若衣衣然、致死見滅於永生、

得不壞不玷不衰之業、即為我儕有原文抄本我儕作爾曹藏於天者、

我父家多第宅、否則我必告爾、我往為爾備居處、或作否則我豈告爾我往為爾備居處乎我既往為爾備居處、必復來接爾歸我、我所在、使爾亦在、

必汗流被面、始可得食、直至爾歸所出之土、爾本為土、必復歸於土、

萬物既將消滅、則爾之舉動、當如何聖潔、當如何虔敬、

與基督聯合、而受割禮、非人手所行者、既去肉體之罪、即受基督之割禮、

我儕聞彼言云、此殿乃人手所作、我將毀之、三日別建一殿、非人手所作者、

希望天主所經營建造有基之邑、

我儕與天主為同工者、爾乃天主所耕之田、天主所建之室、

使我為狂風所捲、隨其飄颺、使我消滅於烈風吹噓之中、使我消滅於烈風吹噓之中或作使我喪膽不勝戰慄

我呼籲時、我仇敵敗退、我知天主保祐我、

為此、我受如此之苦不以為恥、蓋知我所信者為何、且深信其能保守我所付託至於彼日、
