弟兄們，我們要你們明白神在馬其頓省各教會中所賜的恩典：

因為我要用水澆灌乾渴之處，用河流澆灌乾旱之地；我要把我的靈澆灌在你的後裔身上，把我的祝福澆灌在你的子孫身上。他們要像溪水旁的柳樹，在青草間長出。這人說『我屬耶和華』，那人用雅各的名自稱，另一人在自己的手上寫下『屬耶和華』，把以色列作為自己的名。」

也不要把你們身體的任何部分獻給罪，做不義的器具；相反，要像從死人中復活的人，把自己獻給神，並把身體的各部分做義的器具獻給神。

我們沒有一個人是為自己而活，也沒有一個人是為自己而死。就是說，我們如果活著，是為主而活；如果死了，是為主而死。所以，我們無論是活著，還是死了，總是屬於主。正是為此，基督死了，而且復活了，要做死人和活人的主。

實際上，基督的愛催逼著我們，因為我們如此判定：既然一個人替所有的人死了，所有的人就都死了；基督替所有的人死了，好讓那些活著的人不再為自己活，卻為替他們死而復活的基督而活。

難道你們不知道，你們的身體就是聖靈的聖所嗎？這聖靈住在你們裡面，是你們從神領受的。你們不屬於自己，因為你們是被重價贖回來的。所以，你們應當用自己的身體榮耀神。

因此，我把這孩子獻給耶和華；他終生都歸於耶和華。」於是他就在那裡敬拜耶和華。

我必使這三分之一進入火中，熬煉他們如熬煉銀子，察驗他們如察驗金子。他們將呼求我的名，我必應允他們。我必說：『他們是我的子民。』他們也必說：『耶和華是我們的神。』」
