惟主知拯救虔敬之人、脫於苦難、而留不義之人、待審判之日受刑、

觀此可見天主固知何以脫善人於危難、而將惡人留待審判之日、以受顯罰。

Since all this is true, then the Lord knows how to save godly people. He knows how to keep them safe in times of testing. The Lord also knows how to keep ungodly people under guard. He will do so until the day they will be judged and punished.

你们所遇见的试探，无非是人所能受的。神是信实的，必不叫你们受试探过于所能受的；在受试探的时候，总要给你们开一条出路，叫你们能忍受得住。

耶和华的眼目看顾义人；他的耳朵听他们的呼求。耶和华向行恶的人变脸，要从世上除灭他们的名号。义人呼求，耶和华听见了，便救他们脱离一切患难。耶和华靠近伤心的人，拯救灵性痛悔的人。义人多有苦难，但耶和华救他脱离这一切，

你既遵守我忍耐的道，我必在普天下人受试炼的时候，保守你免去你的试炼。

不但如此，凡立志在基督耶稣里敬虔度日的也都要受逼迫。

但现在的天地还是凭着那命存留，直留到不敬虔之人受审判遭沉沦的日子，用火焚烧。

亚当的七世孙以诺曾预言这些人说：“看哪，主带着他的千万圣者降临，要在众人身上行审判，证实那一切不敬虔的人所妄行一切不敬虔的事，又证实不敬虔之罪人所说顶撞他的刚愎话。”

他为我们舍了自己，要赎我们脱离一切罪恶，又洁净我们，特作自己的子民，热心为善。

因为我们众人必要在基督台前显露出来，叫各人按着本身所行的，或善或恶受报。我们既知道主是可畏的，所以劝人。但我们在神面前是显明的，盼望在你们的良心里也是显明的。

耶和华所造的，各适其用；就是恶人也为祸患的日子所造。

就是天使犯了罪，神也没有宽容，曾把他们丢在地狱，交在黑暗坑中，等候审判。

你六次遭难，他必救你；就是七次，灾祸也无法害你。

你竟任着你刚硬不悔改的心，为自己积蓄忿怒，以致神震怒，显他公义审判的日子来到。

你们要知道，耶和华已经分别虔诚人归他自己；我求告耶和华，他必听我。

就是恶人在祸患的日子得存留，在发怒的日子得逃脱。

耶和华啊，求你帮助，因虔诚人断绝了；世人中间的忠信人没有了。

为此，凡虔诚人都当趁你可寻找的时候祷告你；大水泛溢的时候，必不能到他那里。
