为此我提醒你，使你将神藉我按手所给你的恩赐再如火挑旺起来。

你们虽然晓得这些事，并且在你们已有的真道上坚固，我却要将这些事常常提醒你们。我以为应当趁我还在这帐棚的时候提醒你们，激发你们；因为知道我脱离这帐棚的时候快到了，正如我们主耶稣基督所指示我的。并且，我要尽心竭力，使你们在我去世以后时常记念这些事。

给人行按手的礼，不可急促；不要在别人的罪上有份，要保守自己清洁。

耶稣基督的使徒彼得写信给那分散在本都、加拉太、加帕多家、亚细亚、庇推尼寄居的，就是照父神的先见被拣选，藉着圣灵得成圣洁，以致顺服耶稣基督，又蒙他血所洒的人。愿恩惠、平安多多地加给你们。

你们既因顺从真理，洁净了自己的心，以致爱弟兄没有虚假，就当从心里彼此切实相爱。

神实在恩待以色列那些清心的人！

就是手洁心清，不向虚妄，起誓不怀诡诈的人。

清心的人有福了！因为他们必得见神。

我从前说过，如今不在你们那里又说，正如我第二次见你们的时候所说的一样，就是对那犯了罪的和其余的人说：“我若再来，必不宽容。”
