但现在的天地，还是因着同样的话可以存留，直到不敬虔的人受审判和遭灭亡的日子，用火焚烧。

你们都知道，家主若晓得窃贼什么时候来，就不会让他摸进屋里。

你们要仰观天空，俯视大地；因为诸天必像烟云消散，大地要像衣服渐渐破旧；其上的居民必像蠓虫死亡（“必像蠓虫死亡”或译：“必要这样死去”），但我的拯救却永远长存，我的公义也不会废去。

我又看见一个白色的大宝座，和坐在上面的那位。天地都从他面前逃避，再也看不见了。

因此，你们要警醒，因为不知道你们的主什么时候要来。你们都知道，家主若晓得窃贼晚上什么时候会来，就会提高警觉，不让他摸进屋里。

所以，你应当回想你是怎样领受、怎样听见的；应该遵守，也应该悔改。你若不警醒，我就要像贼来到一样。我什么时候来到你那里，你决不能知道。

大山在他面前震动，小山也都融化；大地在他面前废去，世界和所有住在世上的，也都这样。

天地都要毁灭，你却长存；天地都要像衣服一样渐渐残旧；你要更换天地如同更换衣物一样，天地就被更换。

等候并催促神的日子降临呢？因为在那日，天要被火焚烧就融化了，所有元素都因烈火而融解！

天上的万象都必消残；天也像书卷一般被卷起，所有星宿也必衰残，像葡萄树的叶子衰残一样，又像无花果树的叶子凋落一样。

天地都要过去，但我的话决不会废去。

万军之主耶和华摸地，地就融化，住在地上的都要悲哀。这地必像尼罗河高涨，像埃及的大河退落。

“看哪！在耶和华大而可畏的日子来到以先，我必差派以利亚先知到你们那里去。

要把这样的人交给撒但，败坏他的身体，使他的灵魂在主的日子可以得救。

大地全然破坏，尽都崩裂，大大震动。

“日子快到，这是耶和华的宣告。耕地的必紧接着收割的，踹葡萄的必紧接着撒种的；大山必滴下甜酒，小山必融化。

哀哉那日！因为耶和华的日子临近了；那日来到，好像毁灭从全能者临到一样。

太阳将变为黑暗，月亮将变为血红。在耶和华伟大可畏的日子临到以前，这一切都要发生。

无数的人群齐集在判决谷，因为耶和华的日子临近了判决谷。

因为万军之耶和华必有一日，要攻击一切骄傲的、狂妄的，和所有高抬自己的，他们都要降卑。

你们要在锡安吹号，并在我的圣山发出警讯，让国中所有的居民都战栗，因为耶和华的日子快到，必然临近了。

天地都要毁灭，你却长存；天地都要像衣服一样渐渐残旧，你要把天地像外套一样卷起来，天地就像衣服一样被更换；只有你永不改变，你的年数也没有穷尽。”

正如你们对我们已经有些认识，我盼望你们可以彻底明白：在我们的主耶稣的日子，我们是你们的光荣，你们也是我们的光荣。

还有，那不守本位擅离自己居所的天使，主就用永远的锁链把他们拘留在黑暗里，直到那大日子的审判。

在耶和华面前，就是在全地的主面前，群山都像蜡一般融化。

列邦喧嚷，万国动摇；神一发声，地就融化。

群山在他脚下融化，众谷裂开，如蜡在火前一般，像水冲下斜坡一般，

因为被造的万物服在虚空之下，不是自己愿意这样，而是由于使它屈服的那一位；
