他们曾经对你们说：“末世必有好讥笑人的人，随着自己不敬虔的私欲行事。”

这些人常发牢骚，怨天尤人，顺着自己的私欲行事，口说夸张的话，为了利益就不惜阿谀奉承。

最要紧的，你们应当知道：圣经所有的预言，都不是先知自己的见解，

却把暗昧可耻的事弃绝了；不行诡诈，不掺混神的道，反而藉着显扬真理，在神面前把自己推荐给众人的良心。

你应当知道，末后的日子必有艰难的时期来到。

好讥笑人的寻找智慧，却寻不着；聪明人寻找知识，却轻易得着。

“你们愚蒙人喜爱愚蒙，好讥笑的人喜欢讥笑，愚昧人恨恶知识，要到几时呢？

他讥笑那些好讥笑的人，却赐恩给谦卑的人。

因为强暴人归于无有，好讥笑人的必被灭绝；所有意图行恶的，必被剪除。

因此好讥笑人的人哪！就是管辖这些在耶路撒冷的人民的，你们要听耶和华的话。

在我们王喜庆的日子，领袖们因酒的烈性而生病，王就与亵慢人联手。

孩子们，现在是末世的时候了。你们听过敌基督者要来，现在已经有不少敌基督起来了；因此我们就知道这是末世的时候了。
