主乃我之燈、主明我之暗、

約翰為燃明之燈、爾暫喜其光、

天主護庇我儕、賜力於我儕、當患難時、極顯救濟、

約翰非其光、特為光作證是為真光、普照凡生於世之人者也、或作是為真光臨世普照萬人者也

我遭患難時、敵人來攻我、我所倚賴者惟主、

主施恩惠、拯救列王、救援僕人大衛、脫離兇刃、
