蓋天主公平之睿斷、於此已見端倪。正惟爾等為天主之國受苦、是天主以爾等為克承其國也。

All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

All of this proves that when God judges, he is fair. So you will be considered worthy to enter God’s kingdom. You are suffering for his kingdom.

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering—

And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering.

But those who are regarded as worthy to share in that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage.

And in this regard we pray for you always, that our God will make you worthy of his calling and fulfill by his power your every desire for goodness and every work of faith,

giving thanks to the Father who has qualified you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.

His acts are characterized by faithfulness and justice; all his precepts are reliable.

The king is strong; he loves justice. You ensure that legal decisions will be made fairly; you promote justice and equity in Jacob.

Then I heard the altar reply,“ Yes, Lord God, the All- Powerful, your judgments are true and just!”

But remember the former days when you endured a harsh conflict of suffering after you were enlightened.At times you were publicly exposed to abuse and afflictions, and at other times you came to share with others who were treated in that way.

I, therefore, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live worthily of the calling with which you have been called,

For it is right for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you,and to you who are being afflicted to give rest together with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels.

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, who is the Spirit of God, rests on you.But let none of you suffer as a murderer or thief or criminal or as a troublemaker.But if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but glorify God that you bear such a name.For it is time for judgment to begin, starting with the house of God. And if it starts with us, what will be the fate of those who are disobedient to the gospel of God?And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the ungodly and sinners?
