不管別人用什麼詭計，你們都不要上當。因為那日子來臨之前，必有離經叛道的事發生，而那不法之徒，就是那註定滅亡的人也要出現。

後來，怪獸被俘虜了，在怪獸面前行奇蹟的假先知也一同被擒了。這假先知曾用奇蹟欺騙那些蓋了獸印、敬拜獸像的人。他和怪獸一同被活活地扔進硫磺火湖裡。怪獸的殘兵紛紛被白馬騎士口中的利劍所殺，飛鳥飽餐了他們的肉。

從祂面前流出火河，事奉祂的有千千，侍立在祂面前的有萬萬。祂坐下要審判，案卷已經展開。「我繼續觀看，見那獸被殺，身體被毀並被扔進火中，因為牠的小角口出狂言。

懷著美好的盼望等候耶穌基督——我們偉大的上帝和救主的榮耀顯現。

所以你要悔改，否則我必迅速到你那裡，用我口中的劍攻擊他們。

那欺騙他們的魔鬼被扔進了怪獸和假先知所待的硫磺火湖中，在那裡晝夜受苦，直到永永遠遠！

所以在一天之內，她的災禍，就是死亡、哀傷和饑荒要同時臨到她身上。她要被火燒盡，因為審判她的主上帝能力偉大。「那些曾與她通姦享樂的君王目睹焚燒她的煙，必為她哭泣哀號。他們對她所受的災禍充滿恐懼，就遠遠地站著說，『強大堅固的巴比倫城啊，真悲慘！真悲慘！因為審判頃刻間臨到你了。』

祂右手拿著七顆星，口中吐出一把兩刃的利劍，面貌如烈日放光。

耶和華啊，你斥責一聲，鼻孔一吹氣，海底就顯現，大地也露出根基。

如今藉著我們救主基督耶穌的降世顯明了出來。基督已經消滅了死亡，藉著福音將不朽的生命彰顯了出來。

父老們，我寫信給你們，因為你們認識了從太初就存在的那位。年輕人，我寫信給你們，因為你們已經戰勝了那惡者。

在上帝和審判活人死人的基督耶穌面前，我憑基督的顯現和祂的國鄭重囑咐你：

然而，審判者將坐下來審判，奪去並永遠廢除他的權柄。

所以，我差遣先知用我的話殺戮你們，我的審判必如閃電臨到你們。

他們被上帝的氣息所毀，被上帝的怒氣所滅。

要遵守這命令，做純潔無瑕、無可指責的人，一直到我們的主耶穌基督再來。

麥田代表整個世界，那些好種子就是天國的子民。毒麥就是那些屬於魔鬼的人，

不要步該隱的後塵。他屬於那惡者，殺害了自己的弟弟。他為什麼要殺害自己的弟弟呢？因為他的行為邪惡，而他弟弟秉行公義。

種子落在路旁，是指人聽了天國的道理卻不明白，魔鬼乘虛而入，把撒在他心裡的奪走了；

懲罰那些不認識上帝、不聽從有關我們主耶穌之福音的人。那些人要受的刑罰就是離開主的面和祂榮耀的權能，永遠滅亡。
