凡是你手當做的，你都當極力去做；因為在你必去的陰間沒有工作，沒有籌劃，沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

這事傳遍了整個約帕，許多人就信了主。

拉班說：「蒙耶和華祝福的人哪，來吧，為什麼站在外面呢？我已經把屋子預備好了，也為駱駝預備了地方。」那人就進到家裡，卸了駱駝。拉班拿乾草和飼料給駱駝吃，又拿水給那人和隨同他的人用來洗腳。

所以我就立即派人到你那裡。你來了真好！現在我們都來到這裡，在神的面前，聆聽主所吩咐你的一切話。」

不要忘記款待客旅，因為曾經有些人這樣做，在無意中就招待了天使。

說：「我主啊，請轉往你們的僕人家裡過夜，洗洗你們的腳，清早起來再上路。」他們卻說：「不，我們就在廣場上過夜。」但羅得極力勸說他們，他們才轉往他那裡，進了他的家。羅得為他們預備宴席，烤了無酵餅，他們就吃了。

你們要毫無怨言地彼此款待。

利達離約帕不遠，門徒們聽說彼得在利達，就派了兩個人到他那裡，懇求他說：「請你來到我們這裡，不要耽延！」

因為我們不僅要敬重主看為美善的事，也要敬重人看為美善的事。

所以我一受邀請，沒有推辭就來了。那麼請問，你們請我來有什麼事呢？」
