遇見一隻船要往腓尼基去，就上船起行。

但保羅和巴拿巴仍住在安提阿，和許多別人一同教訓人，傳主的道。

有一個利未人，生在塞浦路斯，名叫約瑟，使徒稱他為巴拿巴（巴拿巴翻出來就是勸慰子）。

那時，使徒和長老並全教會定意從他們中間揀選人，差他們和保羅、巴拿巴同往安提阿去；所揀選的就是稱呼巴撒巴的猶大和西拉。這兩個人在弟兄中是作首領的。

神既興起他的僕人，就先差他到你們這裏來，賜福給你們，叫你們各人回轉，離開罪惡。」

於是二人起了爭論，甚至彼此分開。巴拿巴帶着馬可，坐船往塞浦路斯去；

猶太人就彼此對問說：「這人要往哪裏去，叫我們找不着呢？難道他要往散住希臘中的猶太人那裏去教訓希臘人嗎？

從這日起，耶路撒冷的教會大遭逼迫，除了使徒以外，門徒都分散在猶太和撒馬利亞各處。有虔誠的人把司提反埋葬了，為他捶胸大哭。掃羅卻殘害教會，進各人的家，拉着男女下在監裏。那些分散的人往各處去傳道。

寧可往以色列家迷失的羊那裏去。

他們既被聖靈差遣，就下到西流基，從那裏坐船往塞浦路斯去。

有凱撒利亞的幾個門徒和我們同去，帶我們到一個久為門徒的家裏，叫我們與他同住；他名叫拿孫，是塞浦路斯人。

在安提阿的教會中，有幾位先知和教師，就是巴拿巴和稱呼尼結的西面、古利奈人路求，與分封之王希律同養的馬念，並掃羅。

保羅和巴拿巴放膽說：「神的道先講給你們原是應當的；只因你們棄絕這道，斷定自己不配得永生，我們就轉向外邦人去。

找着了，就帶他到安提阿去。他們足有一年的工夫和教會一同聚集，教訓了許多人。門徒稱為「基督徒」是從安提阿起首。當那些日子，有幾位先知從耶路撒冷下到安提阿。

後來，磯法到了安提阿；因他有可責之處，我就當面抵擋他。

在凱撒利亞下了船，就上耶路撒冷去問教會安，隨後下安提阿去。
