主之手晝夜加重責於我、我之精液枯涸、猶如夏日之旱乾、細拉、

耶和華必降災於爾在田之群畜、使馬驢駝牛羊、遍染疫癘、

遂遣人集非利士人諸伯至、曰、當遣以色列天主之匱、以歸故土、免殺我與我眾民、其時、天主降重災於其邑、舉邑之人大恐惶、或作舉邑之人恐惶多有死亡者

我友乎、矜恤我、矜恤我、因天主之手責我、

主降重災於亞實突人、毀其眾、毀其眾或作使之恐惶使之生痔、痔或作毒瘡下同亞實突與其四境皆然、亞實突人見此、則曰以色列天主之匱、不可居於我間、因其降災於我及我神大袞、

且使眾於門外、自老到幼、目矇不明、索門不得、

主所降於我之災罰、求主除之、我在主手受責、幾乎滅亡、主因愆尤罰人、人之精華消損、如被蟲蝕、世人固為虛幻、細拉、

是則何也、以色列人所求者未得、惟蒙選者得之、其餘則剛愎其心矣、如經載云、主使其心昏迷、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大衛曰、願其筵席成為網羅、機檻、礙石、以為其報、願其目矇而不見、其背屈而不伸、

蓋主使爾猶如酣睡、閉爾目、蒙爾首、爾目即先知、爾首即先見、

亞拿尼亞遂往、入其室、手按掃羅曰、吾兄掃羅、爾來時、途中現於爾之主耶穌、遣我使爾得見、且使爾得滿聖神、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者得見、見者反瞽、

運之後、主降災於其邑、使邑人大恐惶、使之無論老幼生痔於下體、

時亞蘭王與以色列人戰、與臣僕計議曰、我於某處建營、

兄弟乎、我甚欲爾知此奧義、免爾自視為智、即以色列人有剛愎者、惟待眾異邦人歸誠、

主之箭穿我之身、主之手壓我之體、

掃羅自地起、啟目不能見、人援其手、引入大瑪色城、三日不見、亦不食不飲、○

遭永生天主之譴、可畏也已、

彼眾如無水之井、如飛雲為狂風所飄、無際之幽暗、為之永存、
