门徒出去，到处传扬福音，主和他们同工，藉着相随的神迹，证实所传的道。（有少数抄本有〔较短的结语〕：9“那些妇女把耶稣所吩咐的一切都告诉彼得和他的同伴。10这些事以后，耶稣藉着他们亲自把那神圣不朽、永远救恩的信息从东到西传扬出去。阿们。”放在第8节之后；另有少数抄本把它放在第20节之后。）

夜里，主藉着异象对保罗说：“不要怕，只管讲，不要闭口！有我与你同在，必定没有人会攻击和伤害你，因为在这城里有许多属我的人。”保罗在那里住了一年零六个月，把神的道教导他们。

不过我要在以弗所住到五旬节，因为这里有又宽大又有果效的门为我开了，同时反对的人也很多。

我们为这些事作证，神赐给顺从的人的圣灵也为这些事作证。”

但我并不珍惜自己的性命，只求跑完我的路程，完成我从主耶稣所领受的职分，为神恩惠的福音作见证。

我们从前在腓立比虽然受了苦，又被凌辱，可是靠着我们的神，在强烈的反对之下，仍然放胆向你们述说神的福音，这是你们知道的。

我不以福音为耻；这福音是神的大能，要救所有相信的，先是犹太人，后是希腊人。

保罗和巴拿巴却放胆说：“神的道，先讲给你们听，是应该的。但因为你们弃绝这道，断定自己不配得永生，所以我们现在就转向外族人去了。

这样过了两年，全亚西亚的居民，无论犹太人或希腊人，都听见了主的道。神藉着保罗的手，行了一些不平凡的神迹。甚至有人把保罗贴身的手巾围巾拿去，放在病人身上，病就好了，邪灵也出来了。

主藉着使徒的手，在民间行了许多神迹奇事。他们都同心聚集在所罗门廊下，其余的人，没有一个敢接近他们，可是民众都很敬重他们。信主的男男女女越来越多，

“以色列人哪，请听听这几句话：正如你们所知道的，神已经藉着拿撒勒人耶稣在你们中间施行了大能、奇事、神迹，向你们证明他是神所立的。

耶稣对他说：“你们若看不见神迹奇事，总是不肯信。”
