After these things I will return, And I will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen; And I will build again the ruins thereof, And I will set it up:

如經云、此後我將反、復建大衛傾覆之幕、復建其頹垣而立之、

其言曰、大闢之宅、已傾圮矣、今而後、我將反而復起之、復起其頹垣而再建之、

此後我將返而復建大衛傾覆之室、其頹圮者、復建而立之、

經云：厥事之後吾當歸、重建大維之殘帷。收拾廢墟築新宅、萬象煥然映朝輝。

“‘ After this I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. Its ruins I will rebuild, and I will restore it,

“‘ After this I will return and set up again David’s fallen tent. I will rebuild what was destroyed. I will make it what it used to be.

“‘ After this I will return, and I will rebuild the tent of David that has fallen; I will rebuild its ruins, and I will restore it,

‘ Afterward I will return and restore the fallen house of David. I will rebuild its ruins and restore it,

After these things I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. I will rebuild its ruins and set it up again,

‘ After this I will return And will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down; I will rebuild its ruins, And I will set it up;

After these things I will return and rebuild David’s fallen tent. I will rebuild its ruins and set it up again,

After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations that are called by my name, saith Jehovah that doeth this.

And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Most High: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:and he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Once have I sworn by my holiness: I will not lie unto David:His seed shall endure for ever, And his throne as the sun before me.It shall be established for ever as the moon, And as the faithful witness in the sky.[ SelahBut thou hast cast off and rejected, Thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.Thou hast abhorred the covenant of thy servant: Thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.Thou hast broken down all his hedges; Thou hast brought his strongholds to ruin.All that pass by the way rob him: He is become a reproach to his neighbors.Thou hast exalted the right hand of his adversaries; Thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.Yea, thou turnest back the edge of his sword, And hast not made him to stand in the battle.Thou hast made his brightness to cease, And cast his throne down to the ground.The days of his youth hast thou shortened: Thou hast covered him with shame.[ SelahHow long, O Jehovah? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? How long shall thy wrath burn like fire?Oh remember how short my time is: For what vanity hast thou created all the children of men!What man is he that shall live and not see death, That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol?[ SelahLord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, Which thou swarest unto David in thy faithfulness?

And when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.

and as from the day that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel; and I will cause thee to rest from all thine enemies. Moreover Jehovah telleth thee that Jehovah will make thee a house.When thy days are fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, that shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever.I will be his father, and he shall be my son: if he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;but my lovingkindness shall not depart from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.And thy house and thy kingdom shall be made sure for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will also take of the lofty top of the cedar, and will set it; I will crop off from the topmost of its young twigs a tender one, and I will plant it upon a high and lofty mountain:in the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it; and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all birds of every wing; in the shade of the branches thereof shall they dwell.And all the trees of the field shall know that I, Jehovah, have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I, Jehovah, have spoken and have done it.

And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them up, I will return and have compassion on them; and I will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.

And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith Jehovah, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

But when he thought on these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.And she shall bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins.Now all this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying,Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, And they shall call his name Immanuel; which is, being interpreted, God with us.And Joseph arose from his sleep, and did as the angel of the Lord commanded him, and took unto him his wife;and knew her not till she had brought forth a son: and he called his name JESUS.

Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which Jehovah did choose, he hath cast them off? thus do they despise my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant of day and night stand not, if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.

And hath raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of his servant David( As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old),
