Now he has escaped!” Michal replied to Saul,“ He said to me,‘ Help me get away or else I will kill you!’”

Then Rahab let them down by a rope through the window.( Her house was built as part of the city wall; she lived in the wall.)She told them,“ Head to the hill country, so the ones chasing you don’t find you. Hide from them there for three days, long enough for those chasing you to return. Then you can be on your way.”

Then he summoned two of the centurions and said,“ Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesarea along with seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen by nine o’clock tonight,and provide mounts for Paul to ride so that he may be brought safely to Felix the governor.”

Paul and Barnabas learned about it and fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe and the surrounding region.There they continued to proclaim the good news.
