弟兄们，你们曾效法犹太中在基督耶稣里神的各教会；因为你们也受了本地人的苦害，像他们受了犹太人的苦害一样。这犹太人杀了主耶稣和先知，又把我们赶出去。他们不得神的喜悦，且与众人为敌，不许我们传道给外邦人使外邦人得救，常常充满自己的罪恶。神的忿怒临在他们身上已经到了极处。

暴怒的人挑启争端；忍怒的人止息纷争。

心中贪婪的，挑起争端；倚靠耶和华的，必得丰裕。

(从来没有像亚哈的，因他自卖，行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，受了王后耶洗别的耸动；

但那不顺从的犹太人耸动外邦人，叫他们心里恼恨弟兄。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们正当人前，把天国的门关了，自己不进去，正要进去的人，你们也不容他们进去。

他们又耸动了百姓、长老，并文士，就忽然来捉拿他，把他带到公会去，

那七日将完，从亚细亚来的犹太人看见保罗在殿里，就耸动了众人，下手拿他，

你们以为我来，是叫地上太平吗？我告诉你们，不是，乃是叫人纷争。

但那不信的犹太人心里嫉妒，招聚了些市井匪类，搭伙成群，耸动合城的人闯进耶孙的家，要将保罗、西拉带到百姓那里。
