眾引葆樂至亞略巴古書院、曰：『所講新道、可得聞乎？

Then they took him and brought him to a meeting of the Areopagus, where they said to him,“ May we know what this new teaching is that you are presenting?

结果大家都惊讶不已，彼此谈论说：“这是怎么回事？！一个带有权柄的新的教导！他命令污灵，污灵就都听从他！”

于是保罗站在亚略巴古当中说：“各位雅典人哪，我看你们在各方面都非常敬畏鬼神，

阿格里帕对保罗说：“你获准为自己说话。”于是保罗伸手开始申辩：

为我的缘故，你们将被带到总督和君王面前，好对他们和外邦人做见证。

阿格里帕对菲斯特斯说：“我本来也想亲自听这个人讲说。”菲斯特斯说：“明天你就可以听他讲说。”

各位蒙爱的人哪，我写给你们的不是一条新命令，而是你们从起初就有的旧命令；这条旧命令就是你们所听过的那话。另一方面，我写给你们的也是一条新命令；这命令在他、在你们，都是真实的，因为黑暗正在消逝，真光已经在照耀。

过了几天，菲利克斯与他的犹太人妻子杜茜拉一起来了。他把保罗叫来，听他讲说对基督耶稣的信仰。

“我给你们一条新的命令：就是要你们彼此相爱，就如我爱你们，为要使你们也彼此相爱。

既然你带来了一些奇怪的事，传到我们耳中，那么我们想知道这些事到底是什么意思。”
