But as he left, he promised,“ I will come back if it is God’s will.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.

As he left, he made them a promise.“ If God wants me to,” he said,“ I will come back.” Then he sailed from Ephesus.

But on taking leave of them he said,“ I will return to you if God wills,” and he set sail from Ephesus.

As he left, however, he said,“ I will come back later, God willing.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.

but he said farewell and added,“ I’ll come back to you again, if God wills.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.

but took leave of them, saying,“ I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem; but I will return again to you, God willing.” And he sailed from Ephesus.

But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that cometh in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.

but taking his leave of them, he said,“ I must by all means keep this coming feast in Jerusalem, but I will return again to you if God wills.” Then he set sail from Ephesus.

Instead, you ought to say,“ If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”

But I will come to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I shall find out, not the words of those who are arrogant, but their power.

For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus so that he would not have to lose time in Asia; for he was hurrying, if it might be possible for him to be in Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

so that I may come to you in joy by the will of God and relax in your company.

always in my prayers requesting if perhaps now, at last by the will of God, I will succeed in coming to you.

And this we will do, if God permits.

Another also said,“ I will follow You, Lord; but first permit me to say goodbye to those at my home.”

For I do not want to see you now just in passing; for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits.

Now after these things were finished, Paul resolved in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem after he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, saying,“ After I have been there, I must also see Rome.”

But I hope, in the Lord Jesus, to send Timothy to you shortly, so that I also may be encouraged when I learn of your condition.For I have no one else of kindred spirit who will genuinely be concerned for your welfare.For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus.But you know of his proven character, that he served with me in the furtherance of the gospel like a child serving his father.Therefore I hope to send him immediately, as soon as I see how things go with me;and I trust in the Lord that I myself will also be coming shortly.

that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from acts of sexual immorality; if you keep yourselves free from such things, you will do well. Farewell.”

“ Observe the month of Abib and celebrate the Passover to the Lord your God, for in the month of Abib the Lord your God brought you out of Egypt by night.

And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong.

And since he would not be persuaded, we became quiet, remarking,“ The will of the Lord be done!”

Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
