‘ Now get up and stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you as a servant and as a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.

Now get up. Stand on your feet. I have appeared to you to appoint you to serve me. And you must tell other people about me. You must tell others that you have seen me today. You must also tell them that I will show myself to you again.

But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you,

我為福音之役、依上帝所賜之恩、乃依其能之功用而賜我也、我在聖徒中、乃微之又微者、尚蒙此恩、俾以基督莫測之富有宣諸異邦、

故我儕既蒙矜恤、而受此役、則不餒、

起入城、爾當行者、將以示爾、同行者噤立、聞聲而不見人、掃羅自地起、開目無所見、同人援其手、導入大馬色、三日不見、亦不飲食、○

爾惟事事節制耐苦、作宣道之工、以盡厥職、

是夜、主立其旁曰、安爾心、爾既證我於耶路撒冷、亦必如是證於羅馬、○

蓋我非受之於人、亦未學之、乃由耶穌基督之啟示、

蓋我所屬所事之上帝、其使昨夜立於我側、曰、保羅勿懼、爾必立於該撒之前、且上帝悉以同舟者賜爾、

惟在爾恆於信、植基而固之、不移乎爾所聞福音之望、即宣於天下萬人、我保羅為其役者也、○

萬事本乎上帝、藉基督使我與之復和、且以復和之職授我儕、

夜、主於異象中、語保羅曰、勿懼、宜言勿默、蓋我偕爾、無人擊爾害爾、因我有多民於此邑也、

如爾學於我所愛之同僕以巴弗、彼緣我儕為基督忠役、

令我為基督耶穌之役於異邦、恭事上帝福音、俾所獻之異邦人、由聖神而成聖者、見納於上帝、

我儕由彼受恩、及使徒職、使萬邦緣其名因信而服、

我已立為教會之役、依上帝為爾所授之職、徧宣其道、

遣我兄弟提摩太、於基督福音為上帝役者、以堅爾曹、為爾之信而慰爾、

感謝以能賜我者、我主基督耶穌是也、彼視我為忠、任我以職、

然我不以己生為意、而貴之、惟欲盡我程途、及由主耶穌所授之職、以證上帝恩惠之福音、

乃依啟示而往、且以我在異邦所宣之福音告之、惟私陳於有令聞者、免我前後所行為徒然也、

安提阿會中、有先知與教師數人、即巴拿巴、稱尼結之西面、古利奈人路求、分封君希律之幼侶馬念、及掃羅、其事主禁食時、聖神曰、為我甄別巴拿巴、掃羅、行我召彼之事、於是禁食祈禱、按手二人而遣之、○二人既奉聖神之遣、往西流基、航海至居比路、

蓋彼曾與我儕同列、共任此役、

俾得與於此役、及使徒之職、猶大已由之墮落、而往己地矣、

我則專務祈禱宣道、
