魔入其心、往謁司祭長及司堂董、建議如何交付耶穌、

民眾及長老經生為之聳動、遽臨捕之、引入會堂、

葆樂察知會眾半為撒都責半為法利塞、乃揚聲而言曰：『兄弟！予乃法利塞人、亦法利塞人之子孫也！予今受審、乃以翹企死者復活。』作是語畢、法利塞人與撒杜責人遂起爭論、會眾析而為二；以撒杜責人言無復活、亦無天神與神靈、而法利塞人則言二者皆有；於是大聲噪聒、有法利塞黨之經生數人、起而辯曰：『吾儕未見是人有何罪惡；安知無神靈或天神曾與之語耶？』

撒杜責人素言人無復活、是日亦進而問之曰：『夫子、摩西曾言、人死無子、弟娶其婦、為兄生子立嗣。

如望見法利塞及撒杜責之徒、亦群來受洗、訓之曰：『蝮種、誰警爾以避將臨之怒耶？

司殿役吏急就之、乃引至、然未敢施以暴行、因懼民眾以石相擊也。

司殿司祭長聞言、惶然莫知所措。

時茹答斯乃領兵士一隊、與司祭長法利塞人所派人員、提燈炬、執武器而至。

惟司祭長耆老輩、則唆眾求釋巴辣巴、而殺耶穌。

主道日昌、耶路撒冷門徒大增、即司祭之中、亦多有奉教者。

黎明、司祭諸長及民間耆老、群議處耶穌以死。乃縛送於方伯比辣多。

斯時、司祭長及民間耆老、方群集於大司祭該法院中思以詭謀曲陷耶穌、而置之於死；

司祭長經生耆老亦嘲曰：

諸徒至是始悟耶穌言宜防者、非指餅酵、乃指法利塞撒杜責之傳習耳。耶穌至斐理比凱撒里

乃發其黨徒、偕希祿黨人來問耶穌曰：『夫子、吾知爾真實無誑、率陳主道、不顧人情、無所偏袒；

大司祭亞納及蓋法若翰亞力山大與大司祭戚屬咸集、

宜憶吾言、僕不能大乎其主、人既侮予、亦必悔爾；人守吾訓、亦必守爾之訓。
