十四年後、予偕巴拿巴、攜提多、再上耶路撒冷；

慈伯德子雅谷伯暨弟若望、二子亦稱罷吶熱譯言雷霆之子；

其餘猶太人、相率效尤、即巴拿巴亦被虛偽之風所靡。

二人意見既左、遂各自分道。巴拿巴與馬爾谷乘舟赴居比路；

彼等既見予所受聖寵之不虛、於是號稱教會柱石之雅各伯基法及若望、相率與予及巴拿巴殷勤握手、以表心契；我往外邦、而彼等則傳道於受割禮者。

抑吾與巴拿巴必須躬自操作、自食其力耶？

巴拿巴與掃羅所務既畢、返自耶路撒冷、且攜別字馬爾谷之若望同行。安提阿教區有先知及主講數人、即巴拿巴、西門字尼結、古利奈人路求、分封王希祿之幼侶馬念、及掃羅是已。

乃託巴拿巴及掃羅齎送諸長老。

同行者有凱塞里門徒、且攜納遜與俱。納遜者居比路人、夙奉教、即吾儕在耶路撒冷時之居停主人也。

葆樂、巴拿巴力與之辯。眾乃推定葆樂巴拿巴及其他同道數人、就耶路撒冷之宗徒長老決之；

惟巴拿巴納之、引謁宗徒、乃以途中如何瞻主、主之所示、及在大馬士革如何奉耶穌之名、力傳聖道、盡舉以告、

耶路撒冷教會聞此佳訊、即遣巴拿巴前往安提阿；既至、睹天主恩寵、為之欣然、勸眾堅志、依主不回。巴拿巴、正人也、充乎聖神、篤於信德；於是歸主者益眾。彼又往笪而西探訪掃羅；

先是、因司諦文罹難而散之同人、足跡遠及腓尼基、居比路、及安提阿。彼等傳道、僅止於猶太人、而不及他人。惟其中亦有居比路及古利奈人。既至安提阿、乃向希臘人傳揚主耶穌之福音。

眾皆默然。後聆巴拿巴、葆樂詳述天主假其手在異邦人中所行之靈異神蹟。
