我必使他们像羊羔，像公绵羊和公山羊一样下到屠宰之地。

你使我们像给人宰吃的羊，把我们分散在列国中。你把你的子民廉价出售；他们的售价并没有使你得到利益。

我静默不出声，甚至连好话也不说（“甚至连好话也不说”或译：“我安静也得不到安慰”），我的痛苦就更加剧烈。

正如经上所记：“为你的缘故，我们终日面对死亡，人看我们像待宰的羊。”

至于我，我却像一只驯良的羊羔，被牵到屠宰之地；我并不知道他们设计谋害我。他们说：“我们来把这树和果子（“果子”原文作“它的食物”）都毁灭吧，把它从活人之地剪除，使它的名不再被人记念。”

因为是你作了这事，我就静默不开口。

第二天，约翰见耶稣迎面而来，就说：“看哪，神的羊羔，是除去世人的罪孽的！

但耶和华啊！你认识我，了解我，你察验了我对你的心意。求你把他们拉出来，好像将宰的羊一般；求你把他们分别出来，留待宰杀的日子。

大祭司就站起来，对耶稣说：“你为什么不回答？这些人作证，控告你的是什么呢？”耶稣却不作声。大祭司又对他说：“我指着永生的神要你起誓，告诉我们你是不是基督、神的儿子。”

而是凭着基督的宝血，就像无瑕疵无玷污的羊羔的血。

耶稣说：“父啊，赦免他们！因为他们不知道自己所作的是什么。”士兵抽签，分了他的衣服。

这应验了耶稣说过的话：“你赐给我的人，我一个也没有失落。”西门．彼得带着一把刀，就拔出来，向大祭司的仆人马勒古砍去，削掉他的右耳。耶稣对彼得说：“把刀收入鞘里去！父给我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”
