因此，从听到你们的消息那天起，我们便不断地为你们祷告，求上帝使你们在一切属灵的智慧和悟性上完全明白祂的旨意，

為此，我們自從聽到這事的那一天起，就不斷地為你們禱告和祈求：願你們藉著一切屬靈的智慧和悟性，能被神旨意的真正知識所充滿；

故我儕自聞之之日、為爾祈禱不已、俾爾充諸靈智靈識、洞悉其旨、

我儕聞之、為爾祈禱不輟、願爾感聖神得智慧、備知其旨、

是以我儕自聞之之時、為爾祈禱不已、求主俾爾得諸睿智靈慧、盡知其旨、

吾人逖聽之餘、即不輟為爾祈求、賜爾靈慧妙識、俾能切身體認天主弘旨、臻於圓融洞澈之地；

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

That’s why we have not stopped praying for you. We have been praying for you since the day we heard about you. We keep asking God to fill you with the knowledge of what he wants. We pray he will give you the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,

So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,

但从天上来的智慧首先是纯洁，然后是爱好和平、温良柔顺、充满怜悯、多结善果、不存偏见、没有虚伪。

你们要把握时机，运用智慧和非信徒交往。

如果你们谁缺少智慧，就当求慷慨施恩、不责备人的上帝，上帝必赐给他智慧。

我所祈求的就是：你们的爱心随着属灵知识的增加和辨别力的提高而日益增长，使你们知道怎样择善而从，做诚实无过的人，一直到基督再来的日子，并靠着耶稣基督结满仁义的果子，使上帝得到荣耀与颂赞。

因为上帝的旨意是要你们行善，使那些愚昧无知的人哑口无言。

在各样善事上成全你们，好使你们遵行祂的旨意，并借着主耶稣在你们心中动工，使你们做祂喜悦的事！愿荣耀归给上帝，直到永永远远。阿们！

我听到你们对主耶稣的信心和对众圣徒的爱心后，不断地为你们感谢上帝，祷告的时候常常提到你们。我求我们主耶稣基督的上帝——荣耀的父把赐智慧和启示的灵给你们，好使你们更深地认识祂。我也求上帝照亮你们心中的眼睛，使你们知道祂的呼召给你们带来了何等的盼望，祂应许赐给众圣徒的产业有何等丰富的荣耀，并且祂在我们这些信的人身上所运行的能力是何等浩大。上帝曾用这大能使基督从死里复活，使基督在天上坐在自己右边，

至于我，我会不断地为你们祈祷，免得我得罪耶和华。我会教导你们行善道、走正路。

求你教导我遵行你的旨意，因为你是我的上帝，愿你良善的灵引导我走平坦的路。

因此，我们常常为你们祷告，愿我们的上帝看你们配得祂的呼召，用大能成全你们一切美好的心愿和凭信心所做的工作。

不断地祷告，

你们需要坚忍到底，这样你们遵行了上帝的旨意后，便可以得到祂的应许。

你们不可追随世界的潮流，要随着思想的不断更新而改变，这样就能明辨上帝的旨意，知道什么是良善、纯全、蒙祂悦纳的。

为此，我跪在天地万物的本源——天父面前，

我们听说了你们对基督耶稣的信心和对众圣徒的爱心，为你们祷告的时候，常常感谢我们主耶稣基督的父上帝。

要将基督的话丰丰富富地存在心里，用各样智慧彼此教导，互相劝诫，以感恩的心用诗篇、圣乐、灵歌颂赞上帝。

在我们的父上帝面前不断地想到你们因信我们主耶稣基督而做的工作、因爱祂而受的劳苦和因祂所赐的盼望而激发的忍耐。

这世界和其中一切的私欲都要过去，但遵守上帝旨意的人永远长存。

这福音不但传到了你们那里，也传到了世界各地，并且开花结果，信主的人数不断增长，正如你们当初听了福音，因为明白真理而认识上帝的恩典后的情形。

上帝用各种智慧和聪明把这恩典丰丰富富地赐给我们，

腓利门弟兄，我常常在祷告中为你感谢上帝，

每次为你们众人祷告的时候，我心里都很喜乐。

来自你们那里、做基督耶稣奴仆的以巴弗弟兄问候你们。他常常恳切地为你们祷告，好使你们信心坚定，生命成熟，深知上帝一切的旨意。

所以，不要做糊涂人，要明白主的旨意。

不要只做一些讨好人的表面工夫，要像基督的奴仆一样从心里遵行上帝的旨意。

可以在今后的生活中不再随从人的私欲，只服从上帝的旨意。

如果你们愿意遵行上帝的旨意，就能分辨这些教导是出于上帝，还是出于我自己。

你们要察验什么是主所喜悦的事，

我比我的老师更有洞见，因为我思想你的法度。

我日夜不停地为你祷告，对我效法祖先用清洁的良心事奉的上帝充满了感恩。每逢想起你流泪的情形，我就渴望见你，好使我的心充满喜乐。

首先，我借着耶稣基督为各位感谢我的上帝，因为你们的信心正在传遍天下。我在祂儿子的福音事工上全心事奉的上帝可以为我做见证：我如何在祷告中常常想到你们，并求上帝让我照祂的旨意最终能去你们那里。

使你们在基督里凡事富足，有全备的口才和知识。

彼得被囚期间，教会都迫切地为他向上帝祷告。
