Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Put up with one another. Forgive one another if you are holding something against someone. Forgive, just as the Lord forgave you.

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves.Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.

Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him,and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.“ Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven;

and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And they cast lots to divide his garments.

by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love;

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sake in the presence of Christ,

And when he saw their faith, he said,“ Man, your sins are forgiven you.”And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying,“ Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered them,“ Why do you question in your hearts?Which is easier, to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say,‘ Rise and walk’?But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— he said to the man who was paralyzed—“ I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.”

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,

For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

“ If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.But if he does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses.If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

And he said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”Then those who were at table with him began to say among themselves,“ Who is this, who even forgives sins?”And he said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Then Peter came up and said to him,“ Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”Jesus said to him,“ I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.“ Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his servants.When he began to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.And since he could not pay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and payment to be made.So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him,‘ Have patience with me, and I will pay you everything.’And out of pity for him, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the debt.But when that same servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, and seizing him, he began to choke him, saying,‘ Pay what you owe.’So his fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him,‘ Have patience with me, and I will pay you.’He refused and went and put him in prison until he should pay the debt.When his fellow servants saw what had taken place, they were greatly distressed, and they went and reported to their master all that had taken place.Then his master summoned him and said to him,‘ You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.And should not you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had mercy on you?’And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers, until he should pay all his debt.So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.”

To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?But you yourselves wrong and defraud— even your own brothers!
