Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Put up with one another. Forgive one another if you are holding something against someone. Forgive, just as the Lord forgave you.

For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.

For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not just please ourselves.Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.

Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.And if he sins against you seven times a day, and returns to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

But love your enemies and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil people.Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.“ Do not judge, and you will not be judged; and do not condemn, and you will not be condemned; pardon, and you will be pardoned.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

[ But Jesus was saying,“ Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”] And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.

in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love,

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us, for the glory of God.

But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

But one whom you forgive anything, I also forgive; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did so for your sakes in the presence of Christ,

And seeing their faith, He said,“ Friend, your sins are forgiven you.”The scribes and the Pharisees began thinking of the implications, saying,“ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, except God alone?”But Jesus, aware of their thoughts, responded and said to them,“ Why are you thinking this way in your hearts?Which is easier, to say:‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” He said to the man who was paralyzed,“ I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher, and go home.”

So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience;

For you have been called for this purpose, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you would follow in His steps,

and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

“ Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that on the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be confirmed.And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.

And He said to her,“ Your sins have been forgiven.”And then those who were reclining at the table with Him began saying to themselves,“ Who is this man who even forgives sins?”And He said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Then Peter came up and said to Him,“ Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I still forgive him? Up to seven times?”Jesus* said to him,“ I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy seven times.“ For this reason the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves.And when he had begun to settle them, one who owed him ten thousand talents was brought to him.But since he did not have the means to repay, his master commanded that he be sold, along with his wife and children and all that he had, and repayment be made.So the slave fell to the ground and prostrated himself before him, saying,‘ Have patience with me and I will repay you everything.’And the master of that slave felt compassion, and he released him and forgave him the debt.But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred denarii; and he seized him and began to choke him, saying,‘ Pay back what you owe!’So his fellow slave fell to the ground and began to plead with him, saying,‘ Have patience with me and I will repay you.’But he was unwilling, and went and threw him in prison until he would pay back what was owed.So when his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were deeply grieved and came and reported to their master all that had happened.Then summoning him, his master* said to him,‘ You wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me.Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, in the same way that I had mercy on you?’And his master, moved with anger, handed him over to the torturers until he would repay all that was owed him.My heavenly Father will also do the same to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.”

Actually, then, it is already a defeat for you, that you have lawsuits with one another. Why not rather suffer the wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?On the contrary, you yourselves do wrong and defraud. And this to your brothers and sisters!
