Let the peace that Christ gives rule in your hearts. As parts of one body, you were appointed to live in peace. And be thankful.

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the Lord.

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children

“ I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit,

rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace.

saying:“ Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!”

Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.

and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.

that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

For this is what the high and exalted One says— he who lives forever, whose name is holy:“ I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.

From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.

remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace,and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility.He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near.For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise— the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say,‘ Salvation comes from the Lord.’”
