為奴者應服從其世俗之主人、一切惟命、毋陽奉陰違、一如專務取悅於人者之所為、務宜表裏如一；畏主故也。

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.

僕當畏懼戰慄、以忠心順爾形軀之主、如於基督然、勿第以目前服役、若取悅於人者、惟如基督之僕、由心而行上帝之旨、欣然服役、如於主、非於人、

子女宜凡事順爾父母、是乃宗主見悅者也、

為僕者宜以敬畏服爾主、不惟於溫良者、即於邪僻者亦然、緣有對上帝之良、雖受枉而忍憂、則見納矣、

爾胡為稱我主也、主也、而不行我所言乎、

惟上帝既鑒我、福音是託、遂如是而言、非若悅人、乃悅鑒我心之上帝也、

今我欲取信於人乎、抑欲取信於上帝乎、或求悅於人乎、若仍悅人、則非基督僕矣、○

夢多詞繁、內有虛空、惟當寅畏上帝、○

勸僕服其主、凡事悅之、無違言、毋私取、惟表其忠、俾凡事修明我救者上帝之道、

罪人作惡百次、而享遐齡、然我深知寅畏上帝者、必獲福祉、

萬軍之耶和華曰、輕視我名之祭司歟、子尊其父、僕尊其主、我若為父、尊我者安在、我若為主、畏我者安在、爾曰、我於何事輕視爾名乎、

至三日、語之曰、我寅畏上帝、有一策焉、爾若從之、則可得生、

前方伯責民供億、日索糈糧與酒、銀四十舍客勒、僕從亦從而挾制之、我寅畏上帝不行是、

愛友乎、我儕既有此諸許、當潔己、盡去身心之污、畏上帝而成聖、○

事之要義、尚其聽之、寅畏上帝、守其誡命、此乃人所當行、

日一厥心恆在於殿、又在家擘餅、以欣以誠而食、

蓋我隸人權、有士卒隸我權、令此往則往、來則來、令僕行是則行是、

我又曰、爾曹所為不善、爾之行事、不當寅畏我之上帝、免我敵諸國之謗乎、

不復如僕、乃逾於僕、為所愛之兄弟、於我且然、況於爾乎、在形軀亦在主也、

夫身之燈、目也、目瞭則全身光、

如僕之目、望主人之手、如婢之目、望主母之手、我目亦望我上帝耶和華、待其矜憫兮、
