After some years, they will become allies. In those days she will be betrayed, together with her royal escort and her father and the one who supported her.

After many years, the two kingdoms will join forces. The daughter of the next king of Egypt will go to the king of Syria. She will join forces with him. But she will not hold on to her power. And he and his power will not last either. In those days she and her attendants will die. They will die when the people she trusts lie to her. The same thing will happen to her father and the one who helped her.

After some years they shall make an alliance, and the daughter of the king of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement. But she shall not retain the strength of her arm, and he and his arm shall not endure, but she shall be given up, and her attendants, he who fathered her, and he who supported her in those times.

“ Some years later an alliance will be formed between the king of the north and the king of the south. The daughter of the king of the south will be given in marriage to the king of the north to secure the alliance, but she will lose her influence over him, and so will her father. She will be abandoned along with her supporters.

北方王必再興舉大軍，比先前的更多；過了幾年，他必率領大軍隊，帶着許多軍隊裝備前進直往。

北方王必來，倒土堆攻取堡壘城。南方的兵力必站立不住；就是精選的兵眾也無力站住。

『當那些時候、這女子的根兒上必有一根枝子要立起來、接替他的位子；他必來到外郭，進入北方王的保障，同他們周旋，而強過他們。

『到了末了時期、南方王必跟他牴觸來牴觸去；北方王必用戰車、馬兵、和許多戰船、勢如暴風、來攻擊他；也必進入列國、如大水氾濫，橫流漫過。

何曾使光被收回、不照着惡人；使強橫高舉的膀臂都被折斷呢？

『人子啊，我打折了埃及王法老的膀臂；看哪，沒有綁紮以敷醫治的藥，沒有用繃帶綁紮，好使它有力量可以拿刀。

過了許多年日、你必被點閱以服兵役；在末後之年、你必來攻那被收復脫離刀劍之地、那從許多外族之民招集來到之地；你必來攻以色列眾山、長期荒廢的山；但其人民、從許多外族之民中帶出來的、都在那裏安然居住呢。你必像狂風颳上來，像密雲集攏來遮蓋那地；你和你的全部隊、以及許多外族之民跟你一同來。

因為你看，我在這地興起一個牧民者：被抹毁的、他不看顧，流蕩的、他不尋找，受折傷的、他不醫治，能自立的、他不供養，而肥壯者的肉、他反而喫掉，甚至牠們的蹄子、他也撕裂！

你判斷之高超、不在他眼裏；他所行的往往強硬而固執；對一切敵人、他只噴之以氣。
